Ludwig Family
Hi I want to thank you for the work you did on the memorials for this family in New Jersey. Mainly Amelia (Ludwig) Endlich and her husband Henry Endlich. They are the parents of my Great Aunt Margaret (Endlich) Price. I linked her to her parents. (She is actually my great aunt by marriage, she was the wife of my grandmothers' twin brother Earl, and was one of the few we actually knew) Also I see some members of the Ludwig family are buried in Hollywood Cemetery in Union, New Jersey where my great grandparents are buried. It is a small world sometimes. Thank you so much for all of this. I can add some more leaves to my tree.

RE: Carrie Gohl
Yes. That is where I saw the cards - in the basement! What a beautiful cemetery that could be if they had more money to be able to maintain the place and the buildings properly.

Best wishes in all your research!

RE: Carrie Gohl
Thanks so much for the info. I transferred Carrie's memorial to you so that you can update it as you as you find more info about her. She is no relation to me and I am happy that you have been able to find out more about her.

So many sources confuse Harrisburg and East Harrisburg cemeteries which creates confusion when doing research. I used to do volunteer work in Harrisburg Cemetery and got to view some of the plot cards years ago. I have heard that the cards or at least copies were transferred to the Historical Society of Dauphin County. Is that how you got copies?

Harrisburg Cemetery is very special to me and I love to see that one of the memorials there is getting some much needed attention. I'm thrilled knowing that Carrie's memorial is in good hands.

Sincerely,
Sherry

Carrie Gohl
Hi. Could you please let me know the source for Carrie's maiden name. I am unable to find any record for her maiden name. I would like to put the source on the memorial.

Thanks!

Sherry

Pate Family Jackpot!
Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that there are a total of 7 other family members buried around Thomas B. Pate. They are:
Thomas W. Pate
Emma Brooke Pate
Pauline B. Pate
Heath William Pate
Neva A. Pate
Samuel Duane Pate
Kittie Powers Pate

Heath is the son of Thomas W. and Emma Pate, but I do not know the relationship of the others. Maybe you know? I created memorials for all of them.

I hope this helps in your research.

Best regards,
B.J.

Anson M Fischer
I checked today at Monmouth Memorial Park about the burial site for Anson M Fischer. Although he was cremated here, his ashed are not interred here. According to their records, they were returned to the funeral home of record which was Van Hise - Calligan.

At this point it looks like there is no marker. There is considerable frozen snow and I will return when there is no snow and get back to you.

Charles Kapphan
Hi!

I notice you have a photo request for Charles Kapphan in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Harrisburg. I am related to this family through his mother's side (Casey) and am trying to get additional information. Can you let me know if you have any information to share?

Thanks!

RE: Thank you.
You're more than welcome. I try to get to Glendale as soon as a couple of requests are in. It's getting easier to find them now that the cemetery has improved their directory but the stones aren't always there to be found. I keep looking until I'm sure there is no stone before I post but always happy to help family find each lost loved one. Let me know if you need anyone else there. Martha

RE: Minnie May Wild Sunderland
Glad to be of assistance :)
Her headstone must be bronze- all of the headstones in this general area are green. I will email you a map in case you ever make it down this way.

Take Care-
Jenny
