Thank you for the reply. My sister and I will concentrate our search in the Rt 70 vicinity again. We searched the whole cemetery for her last week with no success. I had added the burial record to your memorial. The information was taken from a cemetery burial record at the Camden County Historical Society. I inquired at the Calvary Cemetery office who told me she is not buried there.

Thank you very much! He was a great guy. Squared away and friendly. He made a difference in my life at a crucial point in time for me. I've done a few photos here for others and will continue as I heal from recent surgery! Greg (graykin)

thanks! I don't know that area very well, and appreciate the info.
FYI, I am a descendant of Peter Jonas Likens of Berks County. They moved south into Virginia about 1754, and the line kept moving west from there until my father returned to Virginia from Kansas in the 1940's. So, maybe we are cousins.

Thank you for posting information on my Grandmother. I have been trying to find information on her for years. Our family moved back in 2001. No one ever told me she passed away. God bless you. Elizabeth Speller (Farrell).

This is the first Ungrue gravestone that I have been lucky enough to find. I know grandparents are buried in Iowa, but none have shown up so far. I thank you for your work and dedication to helping so many people connect with their past.
With warm regard,

I have not been to my Father's grave since he passed, as I live in Virginia and he is buried in NJ. I was pleasantly surprised to find this memorial with a picture of the headstone on line. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this picture. I've been trying to find these family members for a very long time. I live in Alabama now so I don't get up north any more to pay my respects to my late relatives.
This photo means so much to me.

You are to be commended for your work. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be able to see where my ancestors are laid to rest as I live in a different part of the country and may never get to see where they are.
Thank you again for the time you put in for so many of us.

Thanks for the compliment. I doubt I'll ever catch up to you. BTW, I found about 2 dozen relatives in Iowa, with obituaries transcribed from the local rural paper from around the 1920's to the 1940"s. Now that's good work!
Find A Grave is remarkable.

|Meghan Rosser||my great great grandmother|
I was truly shocked to see my great great grandmother (and great aunt's) headstone on this site. I have it under authority from my family that my great great grandfather is also buried in that plot, but its not listed on the headstone. They were never married, so it might have been scandalous to list him there. Thanks again!!

|Jan Bos from Nijmegen, Holland||Sgt John T. Martin|
Sgt John T. Martin was a soldier in Company G 39th Infantry Regiment 9th Infantry Division. He was killed in Sicily on 6 August 1943. After his death he was buried in the temporary American GELA cemetery in grave F-61-727, date of burial was 8 August 1943.
After the war his remains were repatriated and buried in a cemetery in the United States.
I am writing a book about the GELA Cemetery and would like your permission to use the picture you too of his grave for my book. Of course you will be credited and notified when the book willbe finished, hopefully next year July 2013.
If you may have his picture or have documentation about his death, hope are willing to share. Any information is more than welcome.

|grace||Thank you for the Memorial of my Mom|
I was shocked when I saw my Mother's memorial online. It brought up a wave of emotion. I looked for it again on Mother's Day and was able to leave a note. Somehow, that made me feel a little better that she is remembered.
Thank you Soul Searcher for being there.

So glad you posted this picture. I actually went to Calvary's office Trying to find their graves and was told they were not there. I went to the local historical society & found obituaries to show where they were buried & the librarian directed me to this site where we found the picture. Is there any way you could give us a location where they are since I'm having a difficulty with Calvary? Again, thanks SO MUCH!

It was kind of you to add his wife's link to his memorial, it was also generous of you to transfer his memorial to me. What a nice surprise! Thank you so much for taking the time to work on these memorials for all of us.

|Dalene Worthington||Many Nice People|
There are so many nice people on Find A Grave. A nice couple recently transferred a couple of sites over to me, especially one of my favorite aunts. I loved her very much and still miss her after over 50 years of her death. Everyone who knew her, loved her. When I saw my name on her site, I felt like crying. It was like I kind of had her back. She had died to soon after marrying my uncle, of cancer. I could never thank the person enough for transferring her over to me. The same goes for you and many other nice people on Find A Grave. God bless all of you.
