Second, allow me to express my thanks for all the work your mother did. Without question, she add many memorials which would not otherwise ever have been added. Her contributions were invaluable to many, many people.

Claiborn W. Wild (ID 9551854)
Dear Cheryl,
I am sorry for you loss. What a legacy your mother left you and many others for the countless hours she labored in logging the memorials for all those who went before her. Her work continues to help others find their loved ones, to read more about their lives, or to add more snippets about their character.
I don't know if you are related to one in particular; if not, would you be amenable in transferring his stewardship to my care? His name is "Claiborn W. Wild" (ID 9551854) and he has a minor story to be told and linkages that may be made. Although his transfer would not be within the "guidelines" of familial proximity, he was my 3rd great grand uncle. If you are by chance related, I'll be glad to pass on the information to you.
Thank you, either way, for your time.
Jennie (ID 47691306)

Cheryl, i was sorry to hear about Bev's passing. I am new to Find a Grave and was looking up a relativr, Sylvanus Greer, a relative on my Father's side. I was going to write to see what injuries Sylvanus sustained in yhe Civil War. He was discharged because of those injuries. I have a photo of who I believe is Sylvanus and he is missing an arm. He is an older man who is in a dress uniform. He is in the photo with his wife Sarah. I also have his date of birth. Is it possible to have Sylvanus's memorial to me to maintain it? If so, how is it done.

Dear Cheryl -

Please accept my condolences at the loss of your Mum. I'm so sorry for you & your family.

The pictures you posted of Bev show that she was just lovely - and she must have been just as lovely on the inside too, and generous. She created 52,000+ memorials, yet managed 46,000+. I'm guessing this means that Bev transferred several thousand of them to their family members. What a gracious lady!

I came across your Mum's page when looking for an ancestor of the husband. I won't bother you by requesting a transfer - I'll just email Find A Grave to ask.

Warm & happy thoughts to you & yours.......susan

Howes Family Transfers
Bev did a great job posting the various Howes family members in Millington-Newark Cemetery, Newark Co. in Illinois and am so sorry she has passed away. Could you please transfer all Howes members to me so that I can tie the various members to relative, children and ancestors? This would also include Clara Howes Gallati in the same cemetery.

CIVIL WAR MEMORIALS
I came across several Civil War Veteran graves in Evergreen Cemetery, in Morristown, New Jersey. The deceased were members of The Colored Volunteer Regiments from New Jersey. These veterans were buried in their own area, separated from the white veterans. I posted pictures of their headstones in your mother's honor. There are 2 headstones for each veteran - the original which are illegible and the newer flat ones.

Hi Cheryl, This is the first contact I have had with your mother's work on Find A Grave. With all those memorials, she must've loved it. May time ease your pain of losing her.
Would you please transfer S. P. C. Huffman # 9045918 to me; he was my great grandmother's brother. All I had to go on was after the Civil War, he moved to Missouri. So I started my search and your Mom had put him on Find A Grave. Rest In Peace, Bev.
Thank you so much,
Our # 47743752

William Street
If you would be so kind to transfer this memorial to me I would be honored to care for it. William Street is my gr-gr-grandmother's first husband, he was born in abt. 1816 and yes, was in the Civil War for some reason although I feel he was much too old for such a thing it is what they thought was right in their heart is all.
I appreciate what your mom has done, and am so sorry for your loss at this time.
Take care of yourself and family, the pain never really leaves but it does get easier with time.
With love and respect always,
Melody
