I see now - and thank you for your note so I can correct my family tree.
I see the Bigelow website with him as son of Israel - I assume that he was sent to live with uncle when his father died?
The only record I could find with possible parents is the one with Lebius Loomis Bigelow; with his age, he fit right in as a son:
Lebius Bigellow in the 1850 United States Federal Census
Name: Lebius Bigellow [Lebbeus Bigelow]
Birth Year: abt 1828
Home in 1850: Adamsburg, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, USA
Family Number: 41
Lebius L Bigellow 50
Elizabeth Bigellow 46
Lebius Bigellow 22

This cemetery does not allow photos to be taken of grave stones. I went to the office and they told me you must have permission.

No problem, Susan. I thought you might want him when I created his memorial. I'm distantly related to him through my maternal Witherup/ Phipps line. Happy to help out! Bruce.

Susan: I created and then transferred to you, the memorial to Samuel P. Haslett, spouse of Tillie Bigelow, adding some information to his memorial. I am still looking for Samuels parents but haven't found where they were buried. I know you've done some work on Bigelow, so I thought you might want this one. Thanks for creating Tillie's memorial! Wouldn't it have been easier to contact the person who created the original and tell them that you were family and ask them to transfer? That way only one record would exist for this memorial.

Thank you so very much for the Gallaher transfers. I appreciate you doing this very much!

|Rich Priest||RE: L.C. Elmore|
Sorry, all I remember about him is he lived in West Seattle when I worked with him. Everyone called him LC or LC Elmore. He was kind of a short stocky guy with a bald head. I wish someone had a photo of him. I'd know him if they did.

You requested a photo of the headstone of L.C.Elmore. Someone else claimed it, but I'm wondering if he had worked at Pacific Medical Center in Seattle, back in the 1990's? I worked security there and a guy by the name of L.C.Elmore was my boss.

It is huge. Over 100 acres and their records are all paper, not automated at all. However, when I gave this information to people last year, they had no trouble obtaining the information by phone when they identified themselves as relatives. They may take the information and call you back in a day, but they do get back to you. So I really don't know what time they are saving, because they are going to look the information up one way or another. I guess they don't think Findagrave volunteers will notify the family of their lack of cooperation. Good luck. Chris
