RE: 162059146 Earl J. Grissom
You nay do what you wish, Tom as the memorial is yours. Would you like me to remove my obituary on Ruth Mae's memorial? I can write you a para-phrased one too, if you like. Just let me know. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave, Kaye

Tom, because they were divorced, I would not link them. That's why I asked if they were married or not? If they had children then you can link him and her to them but linking them to each other in death, I don't think that would be appropriate as they were not married to each other when one or the other died. I am trying to find out about this to be positive. Thank you, Kaye

P.S. You're most welcome for the picture. I will type out Ruth's obituary and send to you to post in her Bio. I think the scanned obits don't look good on memorials and I found out Find A Grave doesn't want them.

Tom, you have written in Earl's Bio that he was married to Ruth Mae Higgerson. Did they divorce or what? I didn't see him mentioned as surviving spouse in her obituary. I also wondered why you didn't link them. Thanks, Kaye Harkins McClintock #47734417

Add memorials for Norma & Geo Ed Spain and Wm Ingersoll and I will attach pic. Laverne has marker in Zeigler but it states that she is buried in Chicago so she is not buried in Zeigler. Patsy Jean married Watkins and Ingersoll so she is not A direct Ingersoll descendant.
Laverne Nacissus Spain d/o Geo R and Lena Spain b 18 Jan 1919 Zeigler, IL d 13 Feb 1991 Cook Co, Il m/ Geo LaGesse 27 Apr 1951 Cook Co, IL.

Hi Thomas. I am so glad you liked your photo. I was in Marion Illinois doing some of my research and noticed several requests from people who wanted photos. Fortunately for you I was able to find your request. I always wanted to be able to take someone's photo request as I know how much it means to me when I see my family's internment photo. Glad to be of help.

Thank You

Laura Evans Cain
Barrow Family Cemetery
Hello Robert,
I am familiar with this cemetery. I am related to the Barrows. When I was a young girl, I spent the summers with my Grandma White. We always drove to Campbell Hill to pay our respects to those living and those that had passed. The farm where the cemetery was located sold many years ago. In the cornfield across the road from the house, there was a slight mound with a number of very old tombstones. Each year that we went the farmer planted his corn closer and closer to the cemetery. Finally the farmer dug up the headstones and tossed them in a pile. My uncle Larry White gathered what stones he could find and transfered them to Calvary Cemetery. I apologize for writing a book. This is near and dear to my heart. Sincerely, Laura Cain

RE: New Information on Alvilda Nygaard
thanks for the quick response, my husband's paternal grandma is Mabel Myhre who is the daughter of Alvilde Nygaard. For a while there, I had a hard time finding her second marriage due the fact that her first name gets misspelled so many times, but I am so thrilled to be able to find her second marriage and figure out where and when she died because it looks like no one has figured it out on ancestry but no more I finally located her death. I am also in contact with Carol Johansen who is the great grand daughter of Louise Myhre. YES of course, I would love to exchange information with you. I have a couple of photos of Alvilde. write me please so we can share.

Hi Thomas,
The New Prospect cemetery at one time was called Bounds Creek Cemetery and it is less than 5 miles to Greenville Missouri. Yes, he is buried there :)I promise you ! Kind of funny, I received your e-mail on this cemetery, because I was looking through some stuff today and was going to add some things to my bio and this was one of the cemeteries, what a small world :)
