RE: Warwick graves
Hi Nancy---I tried several times to locate the boys but there are definitely no headstones for them. That doesn't mean they never had one, just that over time they may have sunken or become broken, etc. One thing I could do is photograph the general area they are in---very likely in the upper SE area which is the oldest and has the old headstones. Would that do?

Let me know!

RE: McAlister
You are very welcome, I will make an effort to return to their grave this fall when it is cooler and take my chain saw and trim the lower branches to better expose the marker.

Your quite welcome. How do you like the wide shot photo, I figured you would want to see who is around him.

RE: Transfer request
I have made this transfer but I must remind you of the transfer guidelines--

If the memorial in question is a direct relative within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents) . . .

Goussery/Dotter family
Hello, I discovered your post this week, while showing my Dad, grandson of Aline and Thomas, all the things one can find on the internet. We were talking about family history, Dad is now 90 years old, and he knew the location of the crematory. So, I visited and was so surprised that the photos were there! Dad's cousin, Lucille, had shared the family tree that she spent so many hours compiling, but few pictures were saved by my grandparents and Aunt Marcelle. I would love to have copies of any photos that distant cousins might have. Would you be willing to help in this regard?

You're welcome. It was an interesting experience. Yesterday was my first day of doing this. Next time I'll know to bring grass shears and a whisk broom!

RE: Linking suggestion
I looked at my tree again, and my relation to the Jordan family goes something like this: Pitchford > Hammell > McKeon > Curran > Wahl. William H Curran, Sr. was my great-grand uncle. Josephine (Wahl) Bowlby was my grandmother, on my father's side. Frank A Jordan was the nephew of the wife of my great-grand uncle, William H Curran. I think I got that right! Pam

Yes, now I remember! You posted pics for the Jordan family! I absolutely love old pics of my ancestors, it puts a face to what are just names in my tree! I will have to go back to my tree to see exactly how I am related to them. Thanks so much for sharing them! Pam
