Thank you so much for the photo and cemetery name. I have entered several from this family group, and since my only choice for finding their resting place is through the Birmingham Library, at $5 per obit, their final resting place has remained a question. Here's hoping you find more of them.

Thank you for being so detail oriented with your memorials and allowing to learn more about my family ancestors. Do you happen to know who the four children are that Samuel Spotwood Payne had with Sarah Timberlake? Also do you have more information on his children George, Frank, Charles and Anna.

Interesting account.........I will add to Janet's biography and indicate that the census enumerations have her born about 1868 but that am using the birthdate on her death certificate. I might also comment on her not wanting her death date on her headstone and that birth info was highly sensitive to her.

|Linda Gose Rieck||Transfer of Memorial.|
Kimberly, I wanted to thank you so very much for transferring the memorial of Stephen Gose to me. I hope to link all of his children to his memorial.
I have been a researcher for almost ten years, but I am just now working with Find A Grave. Your beautifully written Bio says exactly how I feel about my research. I am fortunate to have a husband and several cousins that enjoy the quest as well. We have just found my 3x & 4x g-grandfather's cemeteries that have been lost for generations. Our research has unfolded the stories you spoke about which brings my ancestors to life to me. It is a wonderful trip and I am thankful that Find A Grave will ensure that our work will live on.

I have added the information you provided. I also checked to see if there was an obituary published, which there was but I am having trouble pulling it up right now, not sure if it's my computer or the site. Let me know if you don't have it and I'll try again later.

|Kay Wadsworth Walch||Your tribute to the family scribe.|
You stated so succintly & beautifully how I think of myself & my role in my family as a story teller & recorder of our forefathers/foremothers. Yourl ovely thoughts were expressed with feeling and care. Thank you Kimberly for summing up for me and, I am certain, others as well.
These folks of ours lived a life, gave to their families, took care of one another and lived hopefully to see some of the fruits of their labor. They were loved as sons & daughters as well as helpmates and parents. They deserve to be remembered out loud.
