RE: Edmondson - William, Ethel and Mae
Hi Josie! You are quite welcome! Glad to help. I was in Northwood yesterday and all of the Memorial Day flags looked so nice, so I took lots of photos of veterans' stones. I did notice Mae Yundt's name but hadn't gotten to it yet. They are now posted to her. I am happy to send you the photo files and you may use them however you like.

Well, I was able to get the email sent, so, once you get a chance to plow through all that, let me know what you think.

Peter Osborn, Sr., Photo Request
Hi, I'm trying to send you an email because I want to include the documents that lead me to believe Peter Osborn, Sr., is the same person as Peter Sturgis Osborn, Find A Grave #91233894.

Unfortunately, my email is being persnickety and is refusing to send out my messages. I should be able to fix that by tomorrow, but, in the meanwhile, if you have an Ancestry.com account, I can give you the links instead of sending you copies of the documents through email.

Let me know.

Thanks!

You are very welcome. I try to sponsor direct ancestors when they are not already sponsored. It is my way of honoring those who came before and made us what we are. Benjamin Allen is my 8g uncle, I would appreciate the transfer. My ID is 47336803. Regards, Linne

RE: Mathias Brackly
You are very welcome. Two of our friends who are working on restoring the old section at St. James cemetery found his grave site and told us where it was so we could take his photo.

You have my permission to use the photo. I believe it is now in the public domain, since copyright usually is public after 75 years. I do not know the exact year of the photo, but it is more than 75 years ago.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 73004304
Hi, this is a memorial where you make the connection as you hold the memorial page for the child. It appears that the connection was made by Ancestry.com but you must make the release. Thanks for pointing this out. I think Ancestry made the connection as there is an existing Ebenezer Jordan, wife Rebecca Brown Jordan, with a Rebecca Jordan Wass daughter. As you know when Ancestry bought out Find A Grave, their computers did some amazing connections 😩🙀. Esther

RE: King, Joseph & Lena
Glad you are ok with the photo quality of the present footstones. However we will try for some better ones this weekend after the rain passes. :)

ForgetMeNot
King, Joseph & Lena
Took photos of stones placed for Joseph and Lena, plus daughter Francis.
While the headstone photo was easy to photograph the footstones were not. They were completely covered with dirt and grass. Had to remove some sod and dirt to find stones. The photo quality is very poor due to the wet ground and such. Plans to return and re-photograph these stones for before snow arrives! :)

Glad to help you with that resolution of location.
It's a good sized cemetery, so locating requests took awhile.

Christmas in August!
It's a bit moving to have these largely forgotten family members made more a part of the official record. Cornelia and Georgietta are among those originally interred in Tomb 82 in Eastern Cemetery.
Again MANY thanks,

RE: David Ross tomb 82
Dear Josie,
I have a copy of Jordan's book and any of the Ross' in tomb 82 are of the same family. David Ross of Scotland is the Patriarch and his wife was Anna ( not Emma) Larrabee. I'm a descendant of his daughter Abigail who is not listed and may have died before the tomb was placed. Abigail was married to Abraham II and her father in Law is Abraham- C-12. You'll find some tomb 82 folks among the Osgoods. Some of which have newer monuments in Evergreen and Mount Pleasant in S. Portland. I hope this Helps. Oh and by the way many of the rest of this Ross family are in the ill-fated western cemetery. C 90,s or so.
Again, very gratefully,
Joe Osgood

David Ross tomb 82
Dear Josie,
I've been so eager for years to see an image of Tomb 82. There are at least a dozen family members in there. Including a glimpse of Casco bay was brilliant for context. MANY MANY thanks
