|Nathan Haines||Charles Gustaf Thumberg|
OK, I got the pics per your request for Charles Thumberg's grave. He is in one of the really old sections. His stone is pretty sunken, especially on one side of it. I cleaned it all up and took off working on other graves. I went back three hours later and the stone was still wet! I rag dried it the best I could. It was too cold yesterday. In the summer that stone would have been dry in a couple minutes. The sun is so low now his stone is not in the sun all day long. It just doesn't get up high enough this time of year.
There is an Addie Minor 1870-1937 on one side of him
and a Cal. E. Calvert 1874-1930 on the other side of him. I don't suppose they are related in any way??

You are very welcome. I'm only sorry that it turned out to be an unmarked grave. If you have any more ancestors in the Bath area, have you seen the online Bath Burial Index, which gives a lot of information for many Cemeteries and Graveyards in and around Bath. Regards John Moore

Thank you for pointing out my duplicate. I hope I have fixed it. If not maybe you can direct me on how. I am pretty new to this and appreciate any help. Respectfully, Acey Douglas.

|bhd||Fallen Grave Michael H|
Hi, Thanks for the email you sent to me back in August about the memorial for Fallen Graver Michael H. and the incorrect link to a memorial I created. I did send the Admin's the info you sent to me and included some additional info I had found online. I have to assume nothing will be changed since it has been awhile since I sent the email.

|P. Eadie||Anna Warner|
We visited Arlington Cemetery yesterday and discovered that Anna is buried in Sunnyside Section, Plot 1461. With her is Nancy Hodges (1924), George R. Warner (1979), and Lucia Welsch. There is one monument on the site and unfortunately, Anna's name is not inscribed on the stone. The only two names are Nancy Hodges and Lucia Welsch. I would be happy to upload this photo to Anna's site, if you would like. Please advise. Pat

Thank you! Now, if you could just explain precisely how I could have messed that up? Sheesh.

Apologies for the poor-quality of the niche photo. You could ask Carolyn to take a better picture when she returns in October, and at that time I could take down mine.

|L Moses||Pvt Niles Geer Mem 157817105|
I am currently working on a project tracking Civil War Soldiers from Calhoun County, IL.
Pvt. Niles Geer was living in Calhoun when he signed up with the 6th MO INF Regiment June 1, 1861 and stayed with the unit until he was mustered out Aug 17, 1865. I suspect your Niles Geer is one of my soldiers. However the 1860 Census Report has Niles with a wife named Clemenca and a daughter named Laura. Your memorial does not include the cemetery and its location for Pvt. Geer. If you have this information I would appreciate it if you could provide it to me.

|Mark Edwin Thomas||Ida Mae (Walker) Lee|
Hello, in your posting of Ida Mae (Walker) Lee, you have her as being in Medical Lake Cemetery. I just got this report back:
Problems Reported for This Request,
Reported by: Kaye House on Jul 19, 2017
General problem: Cemetery office has no record of this person. And also she reported that she walked this complete Cemetery and is the reason she contacted the Office.
Do you have any New information about this person, as to where they are buried?

|Nathan Haines||RE: Holt|
I just finally got done with the picture captions long after you sent this note. :-]
I got kind of carried away with one of the captions on Minnie's page explaining how the Lot numbers work in her section.
I added captions if you care to click on those to see that.
Minnie has no gravestone. I put a flag by her grave to show where it is.
I put a "before" and "after" picture of William's stone on his page. I took the before picture after I pushed some of the dirt out of the way to make sure that was really his grave. There have been some gophers working away in a few places in this cemetery making a mess.
Anyway, I was a bit surprised myself when I got done working on William's stone how much better it looked. The way it looked when I found it I never dreamed it would ever look that good even if I spent all day cleaning it. Hah.
I will delete the "before" picture.

|Nathan Haines||Minnie Holt|
You put in a request for pics of Minnie Holt's grave.
Could you do me a favor and put in a request for pics of her husband William's grave. He has a pic on his page but the pic is very poor quality and I can get a vastly better picture.
William's Find A Grave #= 77413103
They are not right together but they are buried near each other.
