Wm. R. Lord
Hi Mr. Krueger,
Arlington Cemetery records show that Wm. is buried in the Lawnview Section, lot 149. With him are 8 others. He is buried with 4 Lord family members, 2 Crosslands and 2 members of the Wood Family. There is only one monument there and it has Sara and William R (1873 - 1946) inscribed. I would be willing to upload a photo to each memorial site, if you would like. I plan on visiting Arlington tomorrow. Please advise as to how I can assist. Pat

Charles...
In looking at the records closer, I think the "Charles" reference was in relation to a brother.... I found Charles as a son of Thomas & Deborah Man ... it is posted on their memorials... in my ancestry tree, i don't have much for him yet, as there are to many Gideons and unless it's clear who is who and belongs to whom.... i don't attach it ;)
i have made errors in generations before because there are so many namesakes...
Blessings,
L

RE: Krueger request/ Buffalo Cemetery
Hi...wish I had better news...visited the cemetery today but didn't find a headstone...I am going to include a couple photos on your request, one is the cemetery map pointing to lot 267...you can kind of see name Leach on left, which is on the street and also the flat middle stone (Leach)in other photo with section Q sign..just counted back rows and no Krueger...other picture shows round cemetery marker with #265 so I know I was in right area...so their plot is left of the big tree..

Thanks for taking the photos of the Winterhalters.
FYI I'm not sure where the problem lies, but your photo isn't opening on their memorial. Don't know if anyone else is having the same situation. Poss. you may have to upload it again. Thx.

I appreciate that. I have been working strictly in that cemetery. While I do have family there, most of my memorials there are not family. So if there is anyone else you would like to maintain, please let me know! And any information is always welcome as I'm trying to help the township update the cemetery records at the same time!

RE: Winterhalter Family
After some thought, I'm not 100% sure that Anna Winterhalter at St. Mary's is Martin's mother. I noticed on the 1920 Census that his daughter Anna is listed as Winterhalter despite being married to Henry Krauser. Just wanted to mention it. :)

So very happy to transfer! I will keep Anna Winterhalter Krauser on my "keep an eye open for" list. She's not listed in the OCGS book about Milford cemeteries but that doesn't mean she's not there. Have a great day! Lisa

Winterhalter Family at St. Mary's Milford MI
Hi Carolyn, I just added 4 more Winterhalter names to the St. Mary's page. Per your bio for Martin I sent some update suggestions. Everyone is buried in Plat #1, Block 16, a Parish owned block. According to the book about Milford cemeteries by the Oakland County Genealogical Society, no stones or additional information was found at the time of publication in 2005. Please let me know if you'd like me to transfer the new pages to you. I'm not related, just doing data entry. Thanks! :)

Oak Ridge Cemetery Monument
I'm fairly sure you'll have to have the people who own the cemetery add the date. They sell monuments. My in laws are buried there and we had to do everything except the funeral home through them.

Hi Carolyn,

Does his father already have a memorial or does one have to be created for him? Find that out and I can help you.

Happy Groundhog's Day tomorrow!

RE: Krueger request/ Buffalo Cemetery
Hi Carolyn,
The Mount Calvary office staff is very helpful and we are on a first name basis because I'm there often!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that there is a headstone...my Gr-grandmother is in the section right across the road and most in section Q have been photographed by me and others..We are in Florida for awhile but I will search when I'm back home.
I see you have a request for White Chapel...it so happens, I called that office this week because I found info that my daughter in law's gr-gr-grandparents were buried there..the office staff provided birth and death dates of the grandfather that was unknown until I called...planning on visiting there in the spring for a photo if my request isn't fulfilled...give them a call for your plot info...Carol

Glad my photos could help you verify a family story. Now you know there should be some records of her service somewhere in the US military archives. OH JOY! Something else to research and verify. Having been at this a long time I know how much fun it is when something like this happens and you can share this with your family.

Lord research
Hello, I'm researching my GGG grandfather Thomas Lord 1789-1858 of Jackson Co Ga and South Carolina?? All the info on him and alleged father and mother names are all copied data since 1998 by hundreds of researchers. (ancestry just has census records on Thomas Lord in Georgia on him) I have no clue where he came from but I'm convinced he came from England. My DNA does not match Wilkinson Co Georgia Lord descendants . Any info would be appreciated. Sincerely,Tania Thompson
