Thank you
Thank you very much for making the links. I just got home and was going to send you the documentation. I am sorry you had to go to that trouble. I wish there was a way to send it on the edit tab. I work quickly, but I am careful to get the documents before asking for links. If you scroll through my messages, you will see others who have asked me for documents, too. I am always happy to send them. Others, who have many memorial pages in my ancestors' cemeteries, just know me by now, lol. Thanks again! Deborah

RE: Ernest C. Timmons
Thank you, yes I would. I have two large boxes of family documents and pictures from my mother, sister of Mary Jerman, Isaac's wife. Also, many letters and family bibles from Thomas and Mary Jerman, Mary and my mother's (Florence) parents. Most of this work of research and reading these document are done by my son James when he is not working.

RE: Ernest C. Timmons
My record shows the death of May 27, 1937. I could have miss selected the wrong month. I am partially blind. Ernest is the brother of Isaac, my uncle. Isaac married my aunt Mary (Mamie) Jerman.

RE: 140602103 Edith Ruhl
Hi Laura,

Thank you for linking William and Edith as husband and wife. I see you added a notation that I supplied Edith's bio/obit contribution but you forgot to actually add the obit to the bio section. I have resubmitted the obit edit for your convenience so it can be added. Thank you again for all your help.

So far I have not heard back from my friend as to whether William and Edith are relatives of his or not. If I do and they are I will have him contact you.

Cemetery merge
Stewart's/Kilmory Cemetery has been merged into Kilmartin/Stewart Cemetery, resulting in approximately 140 duplicate memorials. Most, if not all of those duplicates were created in August 2014. Any unique information, including photos, should be added/submitted to the original memorials, then the duplicates deleted.

It will be relatively easy to locate the duplicates using the cemetery-wide index:

Simply scroll through the names looking for "sets", allowing for variations in spelling and dates.

The name on the cemetery sign will always take precedence as the official cemetery name ... you will note that the merged cemetery now includes "also known as" names and a corrected cemetery bio which explains the various names.

Thanks for attending to these duplicates as soon as possible.

Hi Laura.

Thank you!! I'm heading to Annapolis on Monday and Tuesday. If I can figure out the best way to do it, I may swing by Seaford... otherwise it will be a few more weeks before I can get there again.

Thank you for adding the bio for William. An additional one has been sent to you for his wife Dee. No I am not related to him but I am helping a member of the Ruhl family who lives in Idaho to locate his family members here in Maryland.

Best regards,

RE: Zion Cemetery, Williamsburg, Maryland
Is it a cemetery connected with a church? Do you know who manages it? Do you know if there are any burial cards? Thanks for checking your notes on this stuff, I'm not in a rush to get these questions answered. Thanks for all you do with the cemetery documentation.

Zion Cemetery, Williamsburg, Maryland
Hi Laura,

I'm trying to get some data on Zion to which you have contributed some photos. Findagrave lists 143 burials at the cemetery. How complete is that list of headstones?

William E and Catherine Marvel
Hi there.

You posted images of the headstones for William E. (Find A Grave Memorial# 126403303) and Catherine Marvel in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford, DE. These are my 3x great grandparents. I am going to be in Delaware and would like to visit their graves. Can you give me any idea of where in the cemetery they are? I've never been there.

Many thanks.

RE: Edward Abbott
It's probably just my lack of technical skills, but it seems that this message board won't allow me to paste an image. Do you have an email address I can send my document images to? My email is, if you'd rather send your address that way instead of posting here...or would you be willing to transfer his memorial to me, since I am his great-granddaughter? Just let me know. Thank you!

RE: Elsie & Louis Callaway
Louis H. Callaway Mem# 86290503
Elsie E. Callaway Mem# 86290477

Well first of all they are buried side by side in the same cemetery sharing portions of the stone grave marker together. As for other documentation all I can do is direct you to another site to see where they are listed on the 1940 Census together. You may need an account to view, they have a free version. The following links are from Ancestry site.

And this link displays the 1940 US Federal Census pg 36 with the couples info..

Hopefully my links work for you and that they are enough proof. I don't have a marriage certificate or any obituary info on them directly. Thank you.
