RE: Patricia Tracy Evans

I've linked Patrica's parents to her memorial. Thank you so much for adding the lovely picture, it gives a face to the name.

If you would like me to transfer her memorial (or any of the memorials I have created), just let me know.

Hi Sharon,
I linked husband and wife (your uncle and aunt). On Find a Grave, you can't directly link a parent to a have to start with the child's memorial and link that to the parents' memorials. I didn't create their child's memorial, but I did go ahead and submit the edit to the owner of the memorial. Now, we wait because the owner of that memorial will have to accept the edit request. RE: Ivah Frederick
Sure! Glad to do it.
Just send me the number of his memorial, or tell me his name. I looked for the other Fredericks at WV National, and since there are several, I don't know which your uncle is. Cindy

RE: Richard Stanton
Well you didn't tell me his name but I Googled and found Jeffrey Stanton that looks right. I linked them.

Richard Stanton
Are Richard's parents still living? Who were you referring to that died last month that no one has built a memorial for yet that is buried near Richard?

RE: link
Sorry, I don't know of a way to link grandchildren directly to grandparents without going through the parents.
I have added the info to Richard's memorial. Thanks for submitting.

RE: memorial
I'm sorry, but this is out of my area. You may want to look into creating the memorial and if there is anything that needs linked to what I have I'd be happy to do so. It's just hard for me to create memorials without having all of the information and not being in that area.

RE: Nephew
Hi Sharon,
Write up how you want the information to read and send to me in an email and I will copy/paste it to his memorial. My email address is on my profile page.
Thanks, Bev

RE: memorial

I'd be more than happy to help! I just need more information. I take it that the Richard Stanton you are referring to is Richard Andrew Stanton, Memorial #148759234? Who is the grandson you mentioned? And who is his son and his information? I checked the Johnstown Tribune and I didn't see anything, but I could have overlooked it. Just let me know how I can help.

Your Mom
Hi Sharon, Thank you for contacting me about the flower I left on your Mother's memorial. We attended Bro. Casey's church together many years ago. I remember your Mother gave me one of the tiny little red Bibles with her name in it. I was just a child. Do you remember the storefront church? I think it was on Lorain Ave., but I'm not positive. That may have been before your time. (o:

RE: Mother

I have transferred your husband and your mother's memorial to you. I do not feel comfortable deleting valid memorials that have "flowers" on them.

Robert W Crawford
Hi Sharon,
I see you posted photos on the Memorial of Robert W Crawford. He is a very distant cousin, 2nd cousin, 1X removed. My connection to him is through his father, Harold V Crawford, his grandfather, James Crawford, who married Mary Jane "Jennie" Vincent, and then Jennie's parents, William and Mary Vincent, my 2nd great grandparents. I have been researching the Crawford and Vincent lines lately.

Oh sister also died of lung cancer but it also spread to her brain. It was a horrific death. This is so sad to hear about the families health. I will try and connect with Bob on FB. Thank you, Sharon.

May I also ask what was the cause of her death at such a young age? Atleast now she will be with her parents and half-brother Willie Wilson whom I know she adored. I truly enjoyed the emails she sent me which appears to have been only a couple of years before she passed. Such a nice gal.

Ginny Hine MacMahan
In 2005, I was contacted by Ginny about her half-brother Willie Wilson. Her brother Bob and I had corresponded after he somehow find my story about their half brother online. I had been searching for answers to how he died in Vietnam for 35 years. My family was Willie's second family here in CA. We were never given any info about his death just received our letters back stated verified decease. We were devastated but moreso me because I had been writing him and was in love with him. I was going through the old files today and decided to check on Ancestry re the Hine family. I was shocked to learn that Ginny had passed in 2007. It saddens me greatly but I appreciate your kindness in memorializing her on Find-A-Grave. This is the first time I saw what she looked like and had also seeing what his father looked like. Ginny had said she never knew why Willie had used the last name Wilson but I found out that it was his mother's maiden name. I must say he does not look like his father although his father was quite handsome. My condolences to you on the loss of your dear friend. My email address is I want to stay in touch with her brother Bob so if you could give him a shout out for me I'd appreciate it.
