It's ok Cheryl, I completely understand. I wish I could get back up there and see if the stones are still chalked or not. Hopefully someone local can do the cemetery and I can take my pictures down.

RE: #76131507 Photo
Hey Cheryl,

I wasn't the one who did that, but I did get the entire cemetery while travelling over the road. I mostly handle cemeteries here in Florida. If I was still driving semis I would go through again to see if the cemetery is better since then. I know someone else mentioned it to me on Facebook because they thought I did it years ago, but I know better than that with chalking. I would throw a request up to get another picture if you want and hopefully someone local could get it and see if it's better. If it is I will remove the other picture.

RE: Memorial posts
Hi Cheryl! Long time no hear! My mother was an Enyeart. As you know, over the year's the last name has been changed by some members of the family for what ever reasons. Enyeart, Enyart, Enyard, Enjoert, Inyart, etc. Anyway! If you track the lineage back far enough, you will find the tie in. My mother would have been a 7th cousin to Elbridge.

I don't have any evidence on paper that Josiah Murphy, son of JW & Sydney Murphy, middle name was Judson. You are correct & I have submitted an edit to the creator of his memorial. My Murphy tree has his marriage record & obituary with the dates & names of his 2 wives & all his children including Josiah Judson Murphy, known as Judson on census records.
I would love to see your picture of JW & Sydney Murphy to compare with mine which is listed on
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you so much. I would love to see the picture you have of JW Murphy. I have some others that I don't quite know if it's a young Sydney, old Sydney or someone else.
I will have to take a look at my info on the Murphy tree. I have been out of genealogy for a bit but am in the process of making photo cds of all my pics for Xmas gifts. I inherited a box full from 1840 - 1953, Murphy photo album, family bible etc. Any information is greatly appreciated.
I look forward to hearing from you again.

RE: Bea Woods
I'm distantly related to these Morrisons by Y-DNA test result. I do not know the exact connection except we connect way back in Scotland. I did not set up the other memorial. The gravemarker is at Jenners Crossroads Cemetery like her husbands and parents. See memorial 148354522

RE: Josiah Judson Murphy # 43944562

Thank you for your input. The linkage of John W Murphy (born circa 1794), Sydney {Mercer} Murphy (born circa 1800) and Josiah Murphy (born circa 1830), living in Washington, Tuscarawas, Ohio, USA in 1850, per the 1850 United States Federal Census, is one of the key pieces of evidence that the Josiah born 1829 and not the Josiah both 1824 is the son of the John W & Sydney Murphy who are all listed together at the Hardwood Cemetery in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, USA.

Josiah Murphy (born Jul 1929) can be found living in Washington, Tuscarawas, Ohio, USA in the 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900 and 1910 census. All listed as born circa 1829/1830.

Conclusion is Josiah Murphy born circa 1829/1830 is the son of John W & Sydney Murphy, who all lived in Washington, Tuscarawas, Ohio, USA. Josiah Murphy was still alive in 1910.

If you would like to send an email and dive deeper into the lineage of this line, we welcome it. Our email address is listed in our BIO.

Thank you again for contacting us,

Dale & Marie

Sorry, I am no relation to John B. Yeager. I only took the memorial photo. The other information was provided by others although I don't have information on who provided it or when I posted it.

Yes, she was a character! You've taken good care of her, and I can visit, no need to transfer her! You probably knew her much better than I did, I just remember her with love from vacations when I was a child. Thank you for making her memorial, and adding the edits to it, lots here won't do that unless forced to do so.

Re: Douglas Ray Norris
In answer to your suggestion regarding the memorial I made for Douglas Ray Norris. In my search for my ancestors, I found it was a great help if the survivors were listed and their locations. I have left the survivors out of the memorials and have been told they found it very odd that they were not mentioned in the memorial and could I add them & their siblings. I have also had some ask it I would remove their names, which I have. I also contacted some funeral homes to ask if I could use their obits and was told yes, that were not worried about "copyright" also once they are posted on internet they are public record, just like courthouses. Also they do not have a problem with using the photos they post, which I do not post photos; someone always follows the memorial and adds the photo.

So, there is no pleasing everyone.

Have a great day.

Re: Gregory Swann
I am very sorry for your loss.

I have contacted several Funeral Homes who publish the obits on their websites, and was told I could use the obits; once they are published they are public.

As for doing the memorial before the services and/or burial, I do them as they are published; as does most of the Find A Grave contributors. I did notice you have made memorials within 2 days of death.

I will be more than happy to transfer this memorial to you, if you wish just use the edit tab.

Have a great day.

Jason Thomas
Cheryl, I am sorry it took longer than I expected but the Thomas records are so darn much and many. Was your Jason of Welch descent? What dates and places?

I did find Jason Sr and a Jason Jr. but from New York state but find no connection with the Penn. Thomas nor the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Thomas.I have Thomas work that I am doing for a couple distant cousins stemming from Evan's son Richard and Joshua.

Evan's children are not all listed as he did have three wives and even the first family's children are not all listed so I can't say for sure that there was no Jason or Judson.. Joshua yes but no Jason is listed. If you send me the info that you have then I'll relook again since I'll be working on the Thomas family. I must state that at that time in history a large number of Welch Thomas' were comming over to work the mines and work in the steel mills but my branch were more farmers etc. They settled mostly in Northanpton and Bucks counties in PA..
