Thomas Hessey -
I wish to thank you so very much for taking and posting the photos of my ancestors in the Rodeen family. It helps me tremendously in my quest to discover my ancestors.

RE: photo request
Thanks for helping me out with the photos of Jones' marker. I am in no rush so spring time works just great. Thank you.
Also, I noticed on the low resolution image of the marker on the website that the stone "looks" it's age. That is very fine with me. Sometimes people have offered to clean up a monument before photographing it. I am of the mind that whatever stains and molds the monument have acquired with 100+ years of sitting outside are a well earned patina. It's not something that I would ever think of altering.
I really appreciate you considering my photo request.

RE: photo request
Thanks Thomas! Can I get your assist after the melt?

Added by John Burkholder on Feb 05, 2011 3:04 PM

No problem!
I was just making a bunch of requests today before I forget, since I just added a mess of ancestors. The drifts here in Edmonton are as tall as I am, so I understand the winter dilemma! We should be fully thawed by the end of August. :)

Uncle Art
Hi Tom

I notice we have the marker photo on Aunt Lu's memorial but not Uncle Art. Do you still have the photo and could you post it?

Thank you for the email. I am aware of snow conditions and will leave my requests there for the spring.

That is fine. That is how some are here, but we don't get the snow here in Alabama. Thanks for your help.
