LM Rosato
great grandfather
I never knew him or how to research him (other then knowing he came from Italy in the late 1800's) so I was never able to see his grave in NY until now. THANK YOU so very much for your immense good works. I can't wait to show my father a pic of his grandfather's grave. God bless, - Leanna

E. Middleton
Nicholas & Lena Wedel child
Rosanne, I've searched for their markers in Woodland Cemetery on Staten Island and have not found they yet but I think I found one of their children, Rose F. Wedel Fingerlin. Her findagrave number is 176432055 and is in the same Woodland Cemetery. If you think it's their daughter let me know and I'll link them together. Earl

Judy Ames
Margaret Minerva Ames
Hi -
My husband is Julius Ames' great great grandson and like you I have been doing a great deal of research into his family.
I just sent you an edit for the death date of Margaret Minvera Ames. I see you used a newspaper entry to date her death - but that article, titled "Items of Interest to the Old Timer" was a reprint from an October 1898 issue. I have also sent you other edits for family members that are the children of Julius and Mary Ann (Haggerty) Ames. Mary A. Ames, born 1934, was Julius's sister. Many people have made the mistake of thinking Julius's sister was his wife! Mary Ann Haggerty Ames, born 1829, was buried in the old Catholic Cemetery on Judson St. Rd. in Canton, as reported in the Ogdensburg Journal, Feb. 8, 1911 - not at Bridge Cemetery. Due to the fire at the old Catholic Cemetery Mary's grave has been lost, so we are having her information carved into Julius's stone this spring and I have added a cenotaph for her in the Bridge Street Cemetery. Thanks for your help - hope you have a wonderful day :)

Owen Jett
The page for Owen Jett says he has four children with Olive. In the obituary section below it says he is survived by a son Robert S. (which is not the name of any of the four children listed in the section above it. My father is William Pete Jett, son of William Willis Jett. I am just trying to piece together who is who from the past. :)

You're welcome! I'm glad the photo was helpful to you! I was wondering if you have any information on Patrick's wife, Theresa? I've been trying to determine if she is connected to my Connelly family, but haven't found the link yet.

RE: Clancy Family Cemetery in Appanoose county Iowa
There is a Mary Clancy buried in Unionville City Cemetery, Appanoose county, Iowa
Her transcription reads:
Mary Clancy, d. Feb. 28, 1873
age 21y, 5m, 2d.
The 21 yrs doesnt match but the transcription could be wrong.
I am visiting Appanoose county in July 19-21, If I get a chance I could check the stone for you.
