Thank you for all you do for Find A Grave. If not for the kindness of so many people we would not be able to know where members of our families are buried. I appreciate for the time you spend helping others.

|Gary McClellan||Lt. Clyde Tims Morrison|
Killed in France during WWI. Buried Buena Vista Cemetery, Shelby County TX. He was the youngest of 12 children born to my paternal great-grandparents, Eli Bentley Morrison & Kate (Tims) Morrison. I corrected the year of his death, which was originally listed on this site as being 1915. Clyde was wounded on Oct 8, 1918, and died five days later, October 13, the result of gangrene poisoning after being shot in the legs by machine gun fire.

There must be a mix up, because I have no Tobe, Littlejohn, Burton, or Rapp in my names that are under my management. I don't know what's going on. Please recheck it all, because I can't find them. Thanks.

Still looking for William and Susan, James & Sarah Carpenter.. Going to meet Barbara later this month and take a look at the cemetery where James' memorial has been entered. Do you want me to transfer Fannie Esther Fulton and her Scott husband to you?

|Debra Usry||Rich Hill Cemetery, Lamar Co., Texas|
In regards to your photo requests for the Littlejohn family and others buried at Rich Hill B Cemetery, in Lamar Co., Texas.:
"Rich Hill Cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of the county and is believed to be a Black cemetery. It is in Block 16 of the Lamar County Road Map produced by American Drafting and Services revised December 1993. It is located on the south edge of Pat Mayse Lake property and can only be reached by water. There are only four wooden stakes inside a barbed wire fence. Reportedly the community of Rich Hill was located near here before Pat Mayse lake was filled. All burials were supposed to have been moved to Fairland/Littlejohn Cemetery before the lake was built, but others have reported that this was not done. This cemetery was visited in March 1992, by Butch Mills.
GPS coordinates are 33° 49' 21.3780" N, -95° 34' 7.2264" W. (Latitude 33.822605 and Longitude -95.568674)
Oldest known burial is that of Carrie Hunter Littlejohn who was married to Bethel Littlejohn. Using other records to compile the information, there were a total of twenty-four known burials here:". Source: gen.1starnet.com. In Cemetery Records.

Hi, I just took care of the photo req. I sent you some info. that I just realized I overlooked something. I said the office had no record of Clarence, but I overlooked in my notes that he showed a John L. (who is listed) and a John...there is no marker for John. Maybe he is CLARENCE. I will get the death date for him. Is that scenario likely? let me know if you need anything else. G

I am assembling a biography about William's son Chase. I would be grateful for information about Chase's marriage to Mary Ellen “Nellie” Koen (1857-1897)and to Jane "Jennie" Koen (1865-?). Some sources say they were sisters born in Washington Territory. Gilbert Gia, Gilbertgia.com

|Lawrence & Sue Dale||Littlejohn Cemetery, Chicota|
Were you the one who started the home page for this cemetery? If not, do you know who did?
I have been trying thru Findagrave for several months (three tries now)now to add the following to the page with ZERO results
Littlejohn Cemetery is located in the northwest quadrant of Lamar County (and should not be confused with Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery within the city of Paris). It is near the community of Chicota about 4 miles northwest of the intersection of Highway 271 and Farm Market Road 906. GPS coordinates are 33.87382 Latitude and -95.57639 Longitude. In Paris, at the intersection of Loop 286 North and Hwy 271 North, take Hwy 271 north for 12.8 miles to the intersection with FM 197 in Arthur City. Take FM 197 westerly for 3.9 miles to the intersection with CR 36850, Take CR 36850 northwesterly for 3/10 miles to the intersection with CR 35910. There is a cemetery access road here to the north. The cemetery is 99 yards north and does have an overhead sign. The cemetery was surveyed on 12 May 2014 by Lawrence and Sue Dale and pictures were made of all markers that were in place at the time.
Note that this also has GPS coordinates and that feature no longer works on Findagrave for us to add the cemetery map.
If you can possibly help on this it will be greatly appreciated.
