Hi Steph,

I don't mind if you use the photos. No credit is necessary. Sorry I didn't get the others. I don't live in the area and I really wasn't there to photograph individual stones, I was just photographing the cemetery in general (I have a thing for cemeteries). It's a pretty cemetery and thought I would stop. I always snap images of a few stones in case I can add them here to help someone out, but I didn't have a list of what people were looking for, or I would have got the others for you. Good luck with your search! Michelle

Hi, Steph. Thank you for posting a tombstone photo on #34359856 for Jonathan Roush. His tombstone is shared with his wife. I just created memorial # 117067064 for his wife, Mary Cowgill Roush. Could you post your same photo on her memorial? Your help is much appreciated! ~ Jay

Hi Steph...

I added the headstone picture for Marjorie. Thank you for letting me know. I actually knew she passed, but I forgot to do a memorial for her.

Thank you again!

A columbarium is a place for the respectful and usually public storage of cinerary urns (i.e. urns holding a deceased's cremated remains).

My guess is that there is a plaque with her name on it. I have never been there and ran across the information somewhere out there on the web.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

RE: re: The Lincoln Park cemetery
Steph,

The Lincoln Park Cemetery is in very bad shape. I would guess that it hasn't been cleaned in 50 years. Which is a shame. There's trees, bushes, weeds, and lots and lots of briers that tears clothing and cuts your arms. There are a few snakes in there also.

The cemetery is in such bad shape that made it impossible to get all the names. So, now, when I'm searching through the death records for someone, and I find a person that's listed being buried in Lincoln Park I will add their name to the cemetery.

Stockwell graves
Thank you very much! Yes, this is a much nicer shot of George and Catherine (Carr) Stockwell's tombstone. I also note the photo of their two young daughters that you've also posted. Looks like you're having some beautiful days there in southern Ohio. Hope you're really enjoying the Easter weekend.
