RE: Barton Cemetery
That's strange so you can post to a site that someelse created, I wonder where the pics are as I rarely post a site w/o pics as I don't want to write the info...the pic is the info Well,I started long time ago recording those that were deteoriating...just the earliest dates...but now there are so many people doing this that there is too much duplication...Thanks for your response...Evelyn

Dawson Cemetery; Marshall Co, MS
Hi Robert:
I wanted to ask you, about Dawson Cemetery in Marshall Co, MS. Do you have family there ? I'm relation to PERKINS and OLIVER who are both listed being in there and I was wondering if the list you posted in Feb is all the stones you could find, or just certain ones you took pix of ?

RE: Howard Falconer picture
BTW, my ancestors were Dr. David Pointer and Joel E. Wynne. Hope you let me know if you find anything on them. There's a rumor that Marcellus Pointer went to Brazil before he went to Mexico in 1865, but I can't prove it.

RE: Howard Falconer picture
I got my copy of Jeff Giambrone's Remembering Mississippi's Confederates, but I forgot to send him Howard's picture. He used one I sent him of Kinloch, one of Monroe Pointer, and of course, Marcellus. Your picture of Howard seems a lot better resolution that the one I have, so it may have been from an original, whereas mine was a CDV.

Ellen Gill
Helen and Adrian Hoover
Thanks, Robert, ESPECIALLY for the information abt the Hoovers, (Helen being one of my ALL-TIME FAVORITES!) I had been looking for more abt WHEN they died. I had known the year she did but NOTHING abt Adrian (aka: Ade.) I, ESPECIALLY, appreciate the pix of Ade, since their books had used the top one of her that you have on her page but, again, NOT HIM! PLEASE let me know IF I can help in your other searches, as I live in Canton, OH and, I THINK, not far from where Helen was born. Thanks again. Ellen Gill

S. H. White and Minnie Ford White
Thank you so much for the lovely pictures of the markers for S. H. White and Minnie Ford White. The shot of the markers with the church in the background is wonderful. I have never been to Mississippi and probably will never get there, but seeing this picture makes me feel I have actually visited in person. I can identify the other Ford ancestor markers also in the picture. Thanks so much for a wonderful job.

Valentine Malsi
Hi Robert,

Thank you for the info on Valentine Malsi. Do you happen to know where he is buried? I haven't found out yet but I suspect he is in Calvary Cemetery where other family memebers are buried. I was hoping someone would see the memorial I created & let me know. If you know or find out please let me know.

Thanks!
Cindy

Walthall Links
I have added the links for you. I wanted to thank you also for all the wonderful portraits of the Walthalls that you have added to findagrave as well as the headstones. My cousin had actually sent me numerous headstone photos that she took while in Holly Springs and I was going to add them to Findagrave but apparently time crept away from me. They are mostly cousins, but they are still part of my history and I appreciate all you have done to add to their memorials.

Are you connected to this family as well? We might be cousins too. Just curious.

Thanks again for all you do for Findagrave -- Teresa
