|Cheryl Ayres||Re: Cyrus B Drummond|
According to the Gallia Co. Burial index he is buried in Ohio Valley Memorial Gardens as well as his wife Eva. I believe the person who created the other memorial made an assumption he was buried in the same cemetery as his parents. When I created mine I had no knowledge that someone had placed him in another cemetery. According to the index only his parents James Monroe & Harriet Drummond & a sister Viola Goldie are buried in Neal Cemetery. To clarify the burial I have requested a grave photo on my memorial to document one way or another which cemetery he is in, until then I am leaving my memorial because I believe mine is the most accurate place of burial. Thanks for letting me know.

Arlene was the first wife of my late step father-in-law Thomas Cobb. I'm not doing any research into his family but it's good to have Arlene's family linked to her.
Many thanks again

Many thanks for the edits for Arlene Cobb. Are you related by any chance or did you get the info from an obit? If it was from an obit would you mind if I had a copy please to add to our family files.

I was wondering if you had any information on Rozzie massie Memorial# 25493571. I believe that she is a long lost family member but I wanted to be sure. Her birth name is Rosiebell "Rozzie" (Wilson) Massie. Her parents are buried here which makes me believe that it is her. Thank you for your time!

Greetings! You are the one that placed the photo for my 3rd Great Grandfather William (Wilhelm) Rodeman #10432797. Again, thank you for that. I have arranged for a new veteran headstone to be placed for him (with the help of David Carter) and on April 29th at 11:00 James Oiler and his Troope are going to do a dedication ceremony. I would like to invite you the ceremony if you are free. My wife and I will be there but unfortunately, no other family members will be able to attend. It would be a pleasure to meet you and have you be a part of that ceremony. Thanks Irene

Rose, are you in touch with Jamie Riggle at all? She is on your friends list and I am trying to reach her about one of her memorials. It is my GGG Grandfather. The email she has registered at Find A Grave isn't working and I am desperate to contact her.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

|Russell Kasper||Rev. Adam Hodam and Family|
Thank you for the kind words. If you are interested in more information regarding Adam and his son James Harrison Hodam and their families, an out of print book, "The Journal of James Hodam" by Robert P. Hodam is available for review at the Rantoul, Illinois, Public Library and the Rantoul Historical Society. The books were donated by me after I received them from a family member. See James Harrison Hodam memorial page on findagrave.com for related information. I had written a history article for the Rantoul Press a few years ago regarding the Hodam Family and James relocation to Central Illinois after the Civil War. As you know, he was a confederate soldier. He is only one of a dozen Confederate Soldiers buried in East Central Illinois, who were not POW casualties during the war. His family was well known and liked in the Rantoul and surrounding communities. If you are in the area, contact me, and I can take you around to their graves and show you where they lived.

|Carolyn Bowers||Find A Grave - Samuel Henry Brown|
Thanks to the picture you posted for Samuel Henry Brown (8875945), I made a great breakthrough tonight. I have been trying to identify these people in pictures I have had for over 20 years. I knew they were in Ohio and were only identified as aunts and uncles of my great grandmother's. I have two pictures taken at the same time as the one you posted. One picture has them seated with four of their grown children standing behind them. The other picture has them with about 30 people standing and sitting around them. I would be happy to share them if you are interested. I am thrilled to finally know who they are. Thank you so much!

I have come across a CW index card for a Francis M. Hysel being buried at a Estep Cemetery. He served in the 91st OH INF. You think he could be the same as your Franklin Hysel?
