Abbe's bro is my great grandfather
What a great tribute! Abbe is my 2nd great aunt-Richmond Calvin Keith is my great grandfather and Abbe is his sister. Do you have any additional information on Abbe's grandfather who is native american? My DNA is 1% Native American and I would like to trace this.

I don't know that you would want to add this, but an alternative "locator" for your grandfather's grave is 117-E, taken from the canvass and survey [circa 1970] which was later published in the book entitled "Our People And Where They Rest," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1969-1985 p. 52 (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97)

It is available online if you would want to check it yourself.*%22

Thought there might be room in the "bio" section since there is a limited amount of space in the plot number field.

RE: Rev Charlie Corder
You are very welcome. I was happy that I took pictures of the old stones before they were replaced. I'm in the Rev. James New line through his son Daniel Godsey New, granddaughter Martha Juda New, great-grandson Clint Colman Young, then Leva Young and then me. I'll let you compute how we're related and then you can tell me. ;-)

RE: George Washington Starr
Sorry! I could not make a good id on George's parents or his wife's surname. Have not researched Starr in several years. Will
see what I can locate. Hoping some other researcher will post online and share with us!

Thanks for doing Dad's. I couldn't bring myself to do it yet. I still cry every time I look at a picture of him. Love you.

Sorry, some of these are maintained by Judy Mayfield. I must not have been paying attention. No not related to this family, my wife and her family from Atlanta, still have family in Atlanta and go there often and I do some research on the people from the Atlanta, KS area....

RE: Jonas Mendell
I know.. There is an old catholic cemetery in St. Joe Mo that they listed on the abandoned cemetery list. Then a group went out and cleaned it up and it turned out wonderful. it had the broked stones also.. please let me know if you are able to get anything done, or need financial help and I will see what I can come up with..It is terribly sad to see cemeteries abandoned and damaged.. they deserve more respect than that.. thanks again..
