Find a grave - Vivian H Riggs??
Hello Teresa, I sent you an email a week or so back but guess you are busy - I do hope you can soon help me to get this correct - Edward M. C. Abington is my great uncle - I have info that tells me his wife Vivian's maiden name was Chamberlin and not Riggs as you have listed - I would like to know how and or where you got the name Riggs from and be sure which it is before making any changes - Please contact me via here or via my email address -

Hello, I sent you an email last Saturday and this is an update of the situation. The grave listing that you have as Ronald William Crow should be Cron. I am assuming this is one that was merged incorrectly recently. You can verify the spelling of the last name by the headstone picture. The last letter in the last name should be an N.
Thank you for your help in resolving this.

George Boblett
I just sent a couple of edit requests on a soldier you entered from ALton National Cemetery. I wanted to send you additional information because at first glance, it may seem in error. He was 65 when he enlisted, proven by birth records from the church where he was baptized in Carroll Co. Md, July 16, 1797. He died of disease at Alton, I'm thinking he was a prison guard there. His son Leander E. Boblett died of disease while serving in New Orleans a year later. Here's a complete rundown if you need it:
Johann Georg Bobletts b. 24 Apr 1797 d. 15 Sep 1863
m. 11 May 1833 Susannah Kemp (Sandusky Co. OH.) (1808-1856)
m. Isabella
George was baptized July 16, 1797 in Carroll County, Maryland, son of Jacob and
Catherine Babliz. He and his wife were living in Seneca County, Ohio when
they patented 80 acres in Sandusky County, Ohio, 1834 They were listed there in the 1850 census, as Geo. Boblet, 53, born Md. On January 2, 1863 , George
Bobletts, age 65, of Genoa Bluff, Iowa, enlisted in Co. D, 37th Iowa Infantry Regiment. He mustered in on February 27, 1863. He died of disease
while in service, September 15, 1863 at Alton, Illinois. Although a number of senior citizens enlisted during 1861, itís fairly remarkable a man of his years actually served in 1863. He may have been assigned as a guard at the Federal Prisoner of War Camp at Alton, Illinois, where he died. He is buried in the Alton
National Cemetery as George Bobletts.

RE: Corrections
I sent a request to ancestry.Com who is picking up the editing of our find a grave database. I am just letting you know that sometime within the next few days you may be notified of the removal of the ceccarelli photo on the Cayce # 11800192 entry.
thank you for all of your assistance this past few months. I went through the Find a grave database for Fort Richardson and with the help of the cemetery director removed all the entry errors. Over 500 messages were sent out for correction. Hopefully the records will be easier to keep in the future.

Incorect Information regarding the Dagenhart Family
There are numerous errors in your Dagenhart contributions for Marvin UMC Old Union Burial Ground. the most troublesome one is Eliza Elizabeth Dagenhart was the daughter of Thomas Jackson Stewart and wife Emily Paris Stewart not Alfred Burton and Jensie Alexander Stewart. Also Julius Walter Dagenhart was never referred to as (judah)

RE: Corrections
no problem team work is the only way to attack this massive job. Furthermore as I am finding, stones are changed. I am putting photos in for 3 other large sections so you may hear from me again.
Take care and thank you for all of your great work.

Edgar Rentoul
Hello Teresa,

I have a question. I hope you don't mind asking. I adopted the grave of Private Rentoul at the Brunssum War Cemetery. Do you know anything about Edgar Rentoul or his family? I wanted to get in touch with family members of Edgar Rentoul and tell them I adopted his grave and that he will not be forgotten.

Thank you in advance.

RE: Find a Grave
I have been researching the Matthews line for years. I can give you information on Johns parents and g-parents so on if you would like it. Is it possible you could send me a copy/scan of the family papers? I have a deed where Catherine and John sold property - I can't remember all the details. Appreciate the information. Have a good weekend.

Hi Teresa
I know that is has been a while since you posted the information on Catherine Yount Hefner Matthews, but I was wondering if can tell me where you got the information about her husband, John Matthews. He is one of the families that I am researching and I have seen the same information that he died from injuries from a fall from a horse. I have never been able to find this information myself. If anyhelp, is appreciated. Thanks

Teresa, you might find it interesting to read memorial pages for Maude Pat Ellis Alexander, RHS Class of 1949, Billie Jean Alexander Vann, RHS Class of 1948. All memorial pages and class member pages are listed under year they graduated or would have graduated. I am presently working on a page for Betty Jo Alexander. If you would like to add informtion, send a picture, make corrections, etc. we would be happy to hear from you. Is there some way of communicating privately with you? Dorothy

Teresa, in the info for Milton Hugh Alexander, he is survived by two children (Milton, Jr. and Billy Jean. Could you tell me the married name of his first child, Betty Joe Alexander. I assume she was deceased when her father died. She is not mentioned in the obit. Thank you for your time and information. Dorothy
