we are looking for picture of headstone for a mother who died way too young....
Marion/Marian Emily neé Schultz Kalisak, died 03-17-1960 in Commack Long Island NY. We have found some old paperwork that indicates burial as
"The Woodlawn Cemetery" Bronx, NY. It only gives this info from the cemetery office manager...... Grave #3, Christine Muller lot.
We know that this cemetery is huge! not sure what Christine Muller lot means. Any help/information/picture appreciated! THANK YOU!

J. Turner Memorial Photo
Hi, David....I believe you are shown as having created Find A Grave #133312544 file. Do you have an actual photo of the headstone for Jessie Turner, 1972?

Matthew Somerville Morgan Pics
David do you go to Woodlawn Cemetery still? If you do I am trying to get pictures of Matthew's grave. Matthew Morgan was a main stay in New York, doing stage drawings and handout paintings. I just found him and he is my Great Great Grandfather. The people at the cemetery will take pics for me, but they want too much money for it. It is something that I can not afford at this time. I bet is is nice where he is, as it is near the lake.. Any help ?

THanks Ruth

Oh Lord!! Without going into details there was confusion over this one when I posted it. The details are painful to recount anyway...

Thanks and I shall try to straighten it out.

Hi -

I saw the entryway photos you posted for Machpelah in Queens and wanted to inquire if you get out there very often. I have been attempting to locate a volunteer to photograph two stones for my ancestors for some time. If you are planning on returning in the future, I have additional info about burial society, etc.

Lisa Vogt
Cimetière du Père Lachaise
I've been to Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris and saw that you posted a map of it.
I looked through the famous internments but couldn't find an entry for the famous gigolo who is buried in the cemetery. There is a full body brass likeness on top of the grave and though he is fully clothed he has an obvious erection that has been rubbed shiny as a new penny by those who visit his grave.
I would like to find the name of this man.
Thank you.

Jack Gardner
You uploaded a picture of Jonas and Mollie Gardner on his memorial page and the picture includes his young son Jack. Do you know anything about Jack after he grew up? Is he the same Jack Gardner who married Louise Dresser and he died in California in 1951?

On the gravestone photo of actress Lynne Carver, you posted of her grave, you mentioned "it took 50 years..."? I'm curious what you referred to?
