|GLENDA EISENHOUR||John Wright|
One further comment - I think the 1864 death date shown in the Lewis Co. Cemetery record must have been a misprint and it should be 1884. Based on the 1900 census John B. would not have been the son of Susan since it shows she had no ch.

OK, thanks. Things like this drive me crazy until I figure them out. I think I may have solved this one. I found Thomas G's will on Ancestry.com - dated 8 Dec 1897, proved 2 Jan 1906:
He lists wife, Susan and children, Rebecca Law, R. H., and William B and that's all.
Thomas G. marr. 12 Nov 1850 Highland Co., WV Barbara Hevener. They are in the 1860 census of Doddridge Co. John B. is not listed as a child, but it does list Rebecca age 8, Rolandus H. age 6 (both in the will), Burton J. age 4, James age 2.
The 1880 census lists Thomas G in Freeman's Creek, Lewis Co., with wife Susan and ch. John B. age 24 and WILLIAM B. age 12 who is in the will.
The 1900 census lists Thomas G. with wife Susan. They have been marr. 24 yrs but never had children. So all his ch. would be by 1st wife, Barbara.
Thomas G. marr. Susan Hall 7 Dec 1875 Lewis Co., WV.
Hope this helps. I believe it is only one family based on the above.

Rhonda, I looked thru my edits and messages and did not see one for John Wright. Would you please refresh my memory as to his memorial # and the edit(s) I suggested (and when). I might be able to do some further checking on my end.

Thank you Rhonda. Very much appreciated! Just a few weeks ago I was at Baldwin Memorial and visited with all my family members who are buried there -- including Eleanor who was my 4th great grandmother.

First let me thank you for the kindness and great service you do. I was sorry to read about the fire you had and hope that you have been able to rebuild and recover the most important things.
A friend and I have been researching her Woodward line. She has through her 4th great grandfather, John Peter Woodward, ties to Maryland. This tombstone for Abraham Woodward shows a Thomas Woodward who might be John Peter's father. The index shows both Abraham and Thomas Woodward and their spouses are buried in the Baldwin Memorial United Methodist church Cemetery.
A christening record has been found in "Maryland Births and Christenings Index, 1692-1911 naming Thomas Woodward's parents as Abraham Woodward and Priscilla (Ruley). There is a tree on Ancestry.com that shows a connection but, when you analyze the dates, they don't work. My question is, have you found anything connecting John Peter Woodward to Thomas and Margaret Waters Woodward?
Thank you for your time.

Do you know what happened to the Ketner family folder that Uncle Roy was working on. If you know, I sure would like to get a copy. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Mae

Rhonda - I wonder if you would consider taking another photo of Patrick H. Winston's gravestone at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Windsor, Bertie, NC, as there IS enscription on the front of the gravestone - but it is unreadable from the current photot. I would SO appreciate it. Or is there someone else that could do that? THey won't let me request another photo for it with that request since you have a photo up there already.
Thanks for your help and entering PH Winston!

Where do you believe this cemetery to be located? Could it be a part of a larger cemetery now?

|Cindy Bonham Pruett||Epps Cemetery you found 7 yrs ago|
I have written you an email and would live to get in touch with you concerning the Epps family cemetery in a Halifax Va that you visited some time ago. The area where you show the gravesite is not where we were taken by the owner of property. I couldn't sleep last night for so many questions. My great great grandfather is buried there and I need to know his final resting place is correct. Please contact me so I can share what I was told and see if you can remember I would be so grateful. Thank you

Thank you so much for creating a memorial for Claudia 7300908. Her full name was Claudia William Bridgers Cale which I corrected through the edit feature as well as connecting her with her parents.
Claudia was a half sister to my maternal grandfather and with this connection, I now have all of my grandfather's siblings (half & full) connected to their parents with the exception of one - still looking for her!

You're welcome Rhonda :) Sorry for the delayed response-my email has been messed up and for some reason Find a Grave alerts were going to my junk folder. I understand how important it can be to locate a grave-I've been working on my mother's family tree. It's nice to be able to fill in that part of the tree where the empty place once was :) I enjoy helping others find their relatives :)

"John Lafayette Beale" has a great ring to it but I'm sorry to say I have not come across any Beale by that name.
Amy Martha Beale's (#109090749) grandparents were Martha Sarah (Holland) & Lawson Franklin Beale (1813-1890). I have found no siblings for Lawson. Her dad Aubrey Franklin Beale (1874-1954)had no brothers named John. All of their family was in Southampton County, Virginia.
