Hello Mr. Burke,
Yes, my great-grandmother was Eulalia Barrow, daughter of John Stone Barrow and Mary Steele. Does this fit in with your family tree?

Sincerely,
Thomas

Thank you for posting the information on George Thomas Bracken and Grace Patch. It filled in a lot of blank spaces in genealogy. I am a 3rd Cousin twice removed of George Thomas Bracken.

RE: Catherine Rhoads Jackson
Hi Stephen; Katherine and Christopher had 13 children too I'm not for sure about the other Christopher on how many they had. Some of Catherine's children records show their at Independence Cemetery McHenry Ohio Co KY. After they moved from KY to MO they sent for their son who tried getting there in time to see Christopher before he died. Some records show Augustus lost a couple of children on the trip due to illness. So many records doesn't show Gabriel's twin sister Gabriella. I tried looking up more about John Burke and also John Bernard Burke, their both authors from the 1800's. If you look up John Burke History of Royalty and go down to google booksite there's
A lot of books written by them. The one I have is the Antiquity book. Rhoads at one time was Codes and all the families tie together. I can't remember who in the past it was but the families Burke, Jackson, Rhoads and more all tie in together. There's so many I hand wrote, it'shardto find some of it, I didn't organize it. Some I put on notes and later placed in the cloud, tried retreiving it but some how it was lost. Our Families are connected to all Presidents, and royal Families through time. Knight Sir William Marshal and his wife Isabell DeClare are Grandparents. Knight Sir Anthony Jackson is his distant Grandson. Anthony's parents are Richard Jackson and Ursula Hildyard. I still can't believe Henry Rhoads was at the first Continental Congress for KY I believe? He read the message and Ben Franklin congradulated him. I will do more searching about the Burke Family. Sometimes when I get stuck I search Findagrave and see family members and search each one to see what they have and sometimes get a new lead to find more about the family members. I am so glad you contacted me. Some of the families are named in the Magna Carta. Your Burke Family is connected back there somewhere. We'll find it and love it that through time the Families reconnected. Will do some searching and go through those papers and let you know. Sincerely Virginia

Rhoads
Received your message, we are family. Christopher and Catherine lived at Ohio Co My when my Great Grandfather Gabriel was born, he had a twin sister Gabriella which, I can't find any records of her. Catherine had 13 children.
In later years they moved to Louisiana Pike Co MO. their buried there under an Oak Tree at Jackson Cemetery, Christopher was the first one buried therd, not far from their house. Gabriel is buried at the Old City Cemetery Caldwell Burleson Co TX. Some were with the first 300 to TX. Gabriel and wife Virginia Ann (Craddock) Jackson Bates had a trading post at Cooked Point Burleson Co TX. You have Family scattered all over the place. Some of Catherine's children stayed in KY some went to MO, TX and beyond. There's two books written by Catherine's Son-In-Law Clayton,Keith very interesting Sketches of Jackson etc its at the BostonPublic Library.
All Families tied in way back when including Rhoads (Rides) are somehow connected to Royal Families all over the World including Our Presidents. Christopher and President Jackson were first Cousins and related to Stonewall. President Jackson would often travel to KY to see our Family.
We're related to Aiofe McMurrough and DeClare Family, Knight Sir William Marshal, Knight Sir Anthony Jackson and his parents Richard Jackson and Ursula Hildyard. The list is long Rhoads Family is also in there. Some other names closer to Catherine and Christopher is Henry and Mary (Bennett) Boggess, Thomas Boggess and Hannah Rust. Samuel Damourville or Demourville and Daughter Magdalene Demourville. A!so Magdalen Boggess. It is so nice, to find Family Love It.
I really feel your related to, John Burke also. Please tell my new found Cousin hi for me. Please let me know which child of Catherine's is my Great Aunt. Looking forward in hearing from you. Virginia

RE: Henry Rhoads
Hi Stephen received your message and very happy to hear from you. Henry Rhoads is my 5th Great Grandfather too. Is your wife related through Catherine Rhoads Jackson? Her Son Gabriel is my 3rd Great Grandfather.
Are you related to the author Burke that wrote many books with our families in them? I have a few of his books at home, I think his first name may be John? Would love hearing more about you and your wife's family history. Love reading history and was surprised to read about Henry being at the First Continental Congress. Hope to hear from you and your wife. Virginia

Where is this cemetery in Walnut Grove Township, McDonough County Illinois? If you have Burke relatives from this area, my G-grandmother was a Burke, Buried at Good Hope, Illinois. I'm in Arkansas now. Will be in Walnut Grove township, end of April, I have a farm & camper at that location. Just don't know about this cemetery!

Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb
ouch, just looking now I see that if I go to Oakwood and put in only the last name I get some of these that did not come up when I put in the name as I know it. Hold off a little, let me do some checking of my own!

I must be a slow learner
