Thanks for the edit suggestion on dates and locations of birth and death for Guy Failor. I've confirmed and updated all but location of death (Shippensburg, Cumberland Co). Please let me know source so I can note it on memorial. Thanks!

Antony is the father of Mary Ann Lindner Bankes...Mary Ann is the mother of Lewis J. Bankes...Lewis is the father of my grandmother (Alberta Elizabeth Bankes Knieriem).
(Hope I got that straight).
I sure appreciate your comments...

Find A Grave Changes
A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent an edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy
==========================

New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"

******Please Note******
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013

Go to your Contributor/Profile page. Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you. Then just review and accept.

Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.

You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

Bessie Patterson Loscher
Thanks for sending edit on her name as being Elizabeth Isabel "Bessie" Patterson Loscher. I've found documents that show her name as Bessie on marriage license, death certificate and Social Security Application file. Would you send me the source document information for the name you suggest? Thanks for your help!

Photos
I have found a few of your photos while researching my Bashore/Basehore lineage, and I want to compliment you on those shots. You have done an excellent job of it, and I look forward to how many more I can find.
Thank you!

Isaac Kerstetter
I think you should add the tombstone photo for Isaac Kerstetter to your memorial instead of mine. Someone pointed out to me that it was a duplicate so I am going to delete it.

But I wanted to give you time to transfer the photo over first.

RE: Antony Lindner
Thanks for making the change. Unless there was a Wilbur married to Maria Barbara Neifert the tombstone in question is that of Antony's (I may be wrong but I'll bet there wasn't a Wilbur Lindner who lived back then). Since you have a picture of Antony's tombstone, compare it to the one I posted. Unfortunately it has been damaged twice and is partially buried. Another 50 years and it probably will be all in pieces and dumped somewhere.

I was surprised when I didn't find a memorial for Maria Barbara Lindner nee Neifert (unless I missed it somehow).

Do you know anything about Donald Joseph Kerstetter August 31, 1901 Milton - December 4, 1959 Williamsport and his wife Mary Elizabeth Covert June 2, 1903 Lycoming Co PA -December 24, 1991.
they are buried Harmony, Milton.

BHans
Lindner Family
Hello there!
I am currently trying to piece together my family tree. I was wondering if you could offer me any help. My grandmother was Helen Hagenbuch, daughter to Hiram Hagenbuch Jr. I was able to find that Hiram's father was Hiram Sr, and his wife was Mary Ann Lindner, daughter of Israel and Catherine. That is as far as I got. Do you know of any other relatives? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Cemeteries of Swain County
Esther Eliza (Sawyer) Rose, Find A Grave #63956235 is buried at Paynetown Cemetery, Swain County, NC. She died in the former community of Fairview.

Joseph Rose died in the former community of Judson {unknown date} and his grave was removed in 1943 and placed at Lauada Cemetery. I created a memorial for him, Find A Grave # 70794329.

During WWII, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) condemned lands along the Little Tennesse River basin to build Fontana Dam. (Part of the War Effort)

Cemeteries that were along the flood level were removed and relocated. Most were taken to Lauada Cemetery, most of which were marked with a simple white cross. Through the years, some family members have placed modern stones in their place.

A number of cemeteries still exist above the flood line & access is only by boat. The GSMNP provides access once per year by pontoon to descendants for cemetery decorations.
(Decorations are strong Southern tradition of acknowledging & honoring our ancestors)

I am the webmaster for the Swain County Genealogy Society and have links dedicated to the former communities & cemeteries of the North Shore.
You can visit us at: www.swaings.com

The communities that were located on what today is known as "The North Shore" no longer exist; and that area is now the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (GSMNP).

I hope this helped to answer your questions.
