Hollywood Cemetery McComb MS
I saw you took a photo of my Grandfather and several other members of his family. I was there a couple days ago to find the grave and could not find it. His name is Dewitt Foster and died Feb. 1, 1971. I was told it was on China street and it looked familiar but still I missed it. Could you please tell me of the right location? Thanks

Sir... could you please confirm the dates provided for this gravesite in Woodlawn Cem. Summit, MS? From the photo I cannot see the dates. Did you have to guess, was the inscription perfectly clear or did you get that information elsewhere than from the headstone? Thank you in advance for your reply. And thank you for your service! Did you locate the Turner Williams Cemetery in Amite County on Wall Street Rd? I am trying to visit the cemetery......My 3rd Great Grandfather and Grandmother are buried there and I am having trouble finding someone that knows exactly where it is.

Thomas Jefferson Powell

Thank you very much for posting a close-up photo of the lettering and symbols on the gravestone of my gg-gf Thomas Jefferson Powell (1861-1899). His April 14, 1899 Obituary stated that the members of the Knights of Pythias were invited to his funeral, so I figured he must have been a member. Your photo showing the K of P lettering and sword symbol confirms that he was indeed a member.

Thanks again!

RE: ownership
Yes, I do there are others family members buried at Greenwood. I will ID the grave sites as the pictures become available. I am working with my mother to get the date of birth and deaths for her brothers and sisters. Lydia & Clarence Allen, Sr. there were a total of 17 children; only 3 are still living.
