Bob Collins
Harry Goldbaum in Green-Wood
As I think you suspected, GOLDBAUM is an error. This is Harry Goldbourne, aka Harry Cooper (and several other names), race car driver, killed in a crash at the Danbury Fair Racearena in Danbury CT Oct 20 1910. Cause of death--fractured ribs. Burial--$15--grave unmarked. Photo and caption to be uploaded to the memorial page today. He's buried with his wife, Sarah (Sadie) Grolius, her father, George Grolius, and one other man (Robert Simonson) whose relationship to them is unknown to me at present.

JaniceH
Hi,
I am working on taking a picture of the grave stone for,
Charles Roland "Chuck" McGinnis
Metro has no record of him being buried at Douglass Cemetery, or any of the 14 cemeteries that Metro takes care of.
I am wondering what information you may have that caused you to make a memorial for him at Douglass.
They also said that if you know of other family members that are buried there, that may help.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Janice

Esther Frost
Roy Lake
I was looking at your request for a picture of the memorial stone for Roy Lake, race car driver, in the Pine Cliff Cemetery. In the memorial description you say he was raised in Galesburg, WI . There is no Galesburg, WI (there is a Galesburg, IL, however). The Pine Cliff cemetery you are requesting a picture from is in GALESVILLE, WI.

The transcription project for the Galesville Pine Cliff cemetery was completed in Feb, 2004 and there is no listing for any person with the surname of LAKE. Are you sure that this person is buried in the Pine Cliff Cemetery in Galesville, Wisconsin?

Mummey Entries
Thank You for giving of your heart and time to do what you can on the Mummey famliy listings. I was asked if I could get some pics of head stones for some of them ; inquired by couple of family members in California becauseI live in Newark and don't drive. I'm disabled and it was difficult even to get to Philo for 20 minutes. I'm from the Hammond side of the Hammond/Mummey Families. Thanks again

I am not sure if my email went through. You have his last name entered as a maiden name which makes a "search" probably impossible. I will post a marker picture soon--if he has a marker. Regards, Dale.
