|Marcial||John McDermott's memorial|
May I suggest you something? The personal photo of John McDermott that you uploaded you can crop it so that it could fill up the entire space for the frame. And one question, is John McDermott in the same grave as William McDermott?

|klassikat||RE: Thomas Blondel|
Hi, Thanks for getting back to me. I did see the picture of him when he was a baby in his mom's arm and also a very, very small photo of him and another soldier. I don't think that will work for the high school project kids and I can't send it to them as I don't own it.

|Jean Dupon||Naklicki family|
I am researching the Naklicki family from Ske,pe in central Poland; Was Stella's (Stanislawa) maiden name Patan? The Patan family was also from Ske,pe and I have a birth record for a Stanislawa Patan in 1876.

Hello, Are you by chance related to Thomas Blondel? If so, please let me know as there is a high school class that is honoring him and would love to get a picture of him if possible to include in the presentation.
Thank you for your time.

|Kim Bonetti||RE: Jappe and Caroline Sorensen|
I wrote to you awhile back but don't know if you got the message. I think I'm related to Jappe Sorenson, but haven't made the connection just yet. You wrote to me asking if I was related and you know a woman who is the daughter of Jappe. I would love to talk to her about that family. Please have her contact me at email@example.com

|Kim Bonetti||RE: Jappe and Caroline Sorensen|
I might be related to Jappe by marriage. I'm not sure yet. I have a 3rd great grandfather, Bernhard Osterby who's wife was Benette Marie Osterby. On the 1930 census Benette Marie was widowed from Bernhard, remarried and widowed again and living with Niece Anna Sorenson, Nephew George Bertelson, Niece Emma Bertelson and Ethel Bertelson age 11 listed as Aunt. I found out that Emma Bertelson is the daughter of Jappe Sorenson. I think Jappe might be a brother to my Benette Marie but haven't been able to prove it. I have Jappes death cert hoping it would list his parents but they are just listed as unknown. I would love to talk more to your friend about this family. Will you give him my email and ask him to contact me? Its firstname.lastname@example.org

|Janet Reasoner||RE: Lasher|
Thank you for the help. Unfortunately, I have found a lot of the trees on Ancestry are incorrect.
I am positive that Jacob Lasher and Maria VanTassel are incorrect. Their son David died in 1925 and is buried in Gallatin Cemetery. I have photographed his stone for Find a grave.
I do not have a Maria Showerman in my tree. Is she supposed to be married to David's father? Do we have his name?
Oh well! If genealogy was easy, it wouldn't be so interesting. I have been working on the Lashers for several years and I still have hundreds of Unknowns.

Your have been sending me corrections to the Davil L Lasher, born about 1841, family. Are you related? If so do you know who David's father and mother are?
I have been working on the Sebastian Lasher family that arrived at Germantown in 1710 for the last few years. Although I currently show David as an unknown, I think he was possibly a brother of George W Lasher born about 1840.
Also since I don't know if I would be a very distant cousin or not, I will be happy to transfer these memorials to you.
Thanks, Jan Reasoner

|Bill Derrow||Thank You|
Thank you for your kind words on Mother's and Dad's Find A Grave pages. They were fortunate to have you help them by gardening for them. The yard was very important to both of them, and you helped keep it just the way Dad wanted it. More importantly, you were a good friend.

|Daniel Michael Jas. Cullen Sr.||4th Calvary|
4th Calvary is in Woodside, not Long Island City (LIC). You may want to correct the cemetery to this option:
4th Calvary, Woodside, Queens
As of 02/16/13 the cemetery information shows as:
Long Island City
The LIC line is incorrect. First (1st.) Calvary, aka Old Calvary, is in LIC.
Section 59 is indeed in 4th Calvary.
