I was so pleased to learn that you located my great granduncle John's grave marker. He died at age 30 from a horse and wagon accident. Thank you for your time and dedication.

Peter Stueve, Apple Creek Cemetery
Thank you for all the time and effort you spent in searching for Peter's grave marker. I know you, too, would have liked to find it. Peter Stueve was my first cousin 3x removed. Peter's father was my gg grandfather's brother.

Clary Cemetery
Hi, I sent you an e-mail on 1/13/2014 about some memorials you have created in the Clary Cemetery in Hiddenite, N.C. I sent it to the e-mail address you show here on Find-a-Grave: Please check your spam folder for my e-mail as it is VERY important that I get in touch with you. I am related to the Clarys that are buried in the cemetery and our family Foundation (CLS Cemetery & Heritage Foundation, Inc.) are the caretakers of this family plot and own the property the plot is on. I have added memorials for several more of the individuals buried there and the Clary Cemetery is attached to my account here on Find-a-Grave. I have reviewed your memorials and there are some individuals you are showing as being buried there who are not actually in the cemetery, and you have the name of my 4th Great Grandmother Kerrian Hablock Rector Clary wrong. I sent you the e-mail from: with all the details and a request, if you will consider it, that you transfer the memorials you have created to my account for maintenance. Five of them need to be deleted because they are not buried there and one needs information corrected. Our Foundation officers have asked me to send you this request and I feel that the e-mail I sent to you may not have reached you. I will resend if you can give me a valid e-mail address. Thank you SO MUCH for creating the memorials and your considerations. Kindest Regards-Mark Lackey

RE: Brazeau Cemetery
I entered about a third of the graves in Brazeau including a whole bunch of Milster's.

I have a speadsheet I put together and was wanting to share it with the church/trustees.

I have taken and posted all the milster's gravestones that I found there.

thanks for the reply and offer.

Brazeau Cemetery
I've been trying to contact someone from the church in Brazeau.
All the searching on line has produced phone numbers no longer in service or no longer associated with the church.
You photographed the church/cemetery. Did you happen to get a contact for the church?
A trustee maybe or a pastor?
I see from on-line that the church separated from the evengelical presbyterian church denomination in 2012... but no contacts were listed

Much appreciated.

Cattle Drive Trail
I see that you took photos of Cattle Drive Trail....I was wondering if you knew the location of it. We have some history books that say Cattle Drive is in LaGrange and not in Torrington. Any help you could give me would be awesome. Thanks a ton.

Idell Vance Clary Salzman
I added Idell to Find-A-Grave and transferred her memorial to you. I just noticed I forgot to correct the spelling of her and her husband's last name on the death record. It has Sulzman, not Salzman.

Clarys Grove
Hello. I'm just wondering if you chose the name above because of an interest in Edgar Lee Masters. One of the letters in your public mail mentions Menard Co. Do you live there or nearby?

I'm teaching a seminar on Spoon River and have my students digging around Find A Grave for related graves. We would love to have some local person to consult with, especially as certain mysteries have emerged.

Farrar and related families
Helen Farrar (grave of child with no stone)
To avoid further requests being made for a photo of this child's grave stone, please consider adding a picture of the area other Farrar family members are buried in the cem. or another suitable picture with a note as to the fact that no stone is in place for Helen's grave. Thank you, again, for your efforts on behalf of this group of Farrar family members.

Tom Wilkinson
My research shows an Elizabeth Matilda Walker Swan, born in 1819, in Rowan, N.C., married to William Wilkinson, my GGGrandfather in 1843. If you have details about her family history, I would love to have the information.

Can you tell me the location of this cemetery? There is no map on the FindAGrave page, and I couldn't find it on GoogleMaps either. I'm wondering if Jonathan Rhyne and his wife Modean are buried there.

Jarvis Green(e)
I am a direct decendent of Jarvis and had always been told he died in a battle in Blue Licks, Kentucky. How did you determine he was buried in Menard County? His date of birth is 1750 in Tryon, NC and death is 19 August, 1782 in Blue Licks, Kentucky according to family and county histories.

RE: Thelma Pauline Jillson
Hi Ernie,
Thanks you. It is nice to be able to put a face to the facts of our relatives. I do have quite alot of info on the Jillsons and some on the Hogans. If you are interested, let me know and I will send this information on to you. I do have a few questions on who is the mother of Lillie Mae Jillson. My research shows Lillie being born 23 Aug 1924 and living with George and Norma Jillson and her sister in the 1930 census. I'm assuming George married Thelma's sister after Thelma's death and they then had Lillie. Do you happen to know what Lillie's husbands first name was? Thanks for any help you can give. Carol
