|Margaret Reed Maryott||Jacob Snider|
Hi Robert, Hope your are having a great day. I am related to you, Jacob is my fifth great grandfather. My line is through his wife and then John Studebaker Ritchey, his daughter Mary Jane Ritchey is my great grandmother. As I do my family history and I see your name then I know I am on the right track. Thank you for all that you have done on our family history. Someday I would like to speak to you on the phone. God bless you, cousin Margaret.

Yes, I would be interested in Jacob's children, especially George Washington Snider, b. 1776 and Nancy Barbary Martin. He is the one I am descended from; to Daniel Snider, b. 1808 and Mary Ann Keefer b. 1812, then to Simon Andrew Snider b. 1843 to Grace Fern Snider b. 1885, my grandmother. She married Levva Russell Holycross b. 1876, and had my father, Carl Snider Holycross, b. 1912, my mother was Barbara Vogelsberger, b. 1910. I was born the only child of them, 1946.
My father's sister, Virginia Holycross Breckler, b. 1917 is still living at the age of 99 years. They were the only two children born to Grace and Levva. I had a half-sister, Evelyn Dawn Fox, born to a different father.

I just wanted to thank you for your research on Jacob. He is my 3rd great grandfather on my father's side. I have about 16,000 names in my files; so I realize how much time, energy and love it takes to gather information and do research.
It is seldom that information gatherers appreciate what we do as researchers, and I've had many people just use my information and do not reply with a word of thanks. So here it is; thank you very sincerely. You've gotten pictures as well as documents--they mean as much as if I'd gone there myself! You've done well, everything I've researched points to everything you have on Jacob as true and verifiable. Thank you again for a job well done!

I thought that was probably the reason but wanted to see if there was possibly something I hadn't found. I appreciate your quick response

I am helping a Harman family member with his lineage and am wondering if you have any information on when/why the Henry HarmAN surname was changed to HarmOn? It looks like somewhere between Henry's son Benjamin and grandson Francis things shifted. Can you help with any ideas as toWhy?

|dragonswolf||William Henry Hursey|
You recently sent me a correction for William Henry Hursey (1860-1932) Find A Grave Memorial# 42211743. As far as the census all show, he was born in Ohio, so I am declining your suggestion. He is my great-grandfather. I know there were many William Hurseys and/or Henry Hurseys. If I can help you any more, please feel free to contact me through here, or by email. Wanted to let you know why I declined it, instead of just declining.
Have a blessed day!

|Ellece Burns Varnes||RE: Ron Floyd|
Thanks for your note. I do remember you telling me that when Bill died. There were 7 of us cousins who were born within a year of each other and growing up we stayed very close - different times. Ronnie was one of those 7 and I loved him dearly. As adults, we drifted away with our busy lives but those early ties could never be broken. I know Ronnie was planning to come to our family reunion in Alabama this year but now his reunion is with all of his family and friends in Heaven. We will meet again.

Thank you for the transfer offer, but not necessary. I have many Wright kin, some buried in the cemetery where his parents and other family members are buried, but his Wright family is no kin. I just like adding memorials and getting families linked when I can. You have a nice memorial for him.

My husband's grandmother, who came to Canada when she was married, was a Stuckey from Nebraska. I found a lot of information about her family from the extensive genealogy on her mother's side of the family (Hazelbaker) at http://www.hasselbacher.org/

Thanks so much for catching the Philip Hartz dupe. I had added him based on the St. Bernard's Burial register, but he was either moved, or not buried at St. Bernards as intended. I sent to edit to have the two memorials merged (so that links and flowers are not lost), with management to be retained by coreopsis.

Hi Robert! If Trudy is not one of your relatives, would you mind transferring her memorial to me? I have been searching for her under Gertrude. She is my Aunt, my Grandfather's sister. I would appreciate the transfer. Thank you in advance. Have a great day!
