RE: George & Wilhelmina Roth
Hi Carole,
I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my email and for you offering to transfer the memorials to me. The truth is I am a big "rookie" and wouldn't know what to do. I was only hoping to provide information to whomever may be searching for my great grandparents. I understand what you are saying about contacting the person(s) that created Laura and Earl's memorials. I have found Laura's as well as Earl's memorials and will contact the people that created them. ( If you are interested Laura's memorial # is 61709079, she was buried in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida, You couldn't find it because I spelled her last name incorrectly, it is Laura M. Janssen) Thank you so much for your time, your help, and all of the hard work you do. Laura

Please add Sallie nickname to record 9280595
Would you please approve the Edit I sent re Salome (nee Keiper) Deily's record.

I have uploaded a copy of her PA Death Certificate to her record. As you can see she was using the nickname of Sallie when she died. I sent you an Edit which is in your Pending edits in your contributor page to add her nickname to her record in her nickname field.

Thank you in advance.

Charles and Elisabeth Steckel
Thanks for all your efforts on the headstones at the Salem Church graveyard. I am interested in any info regarding Charles and Elisabeth Steckel (1807-1837). I have found Charles' second wife Leah's headstone in another cemetery but would like to know if anyone has done a translation of Elisabeth's stone at this cemetery? Or even if someone has a clear photo showing the original German clear enough to translate?

It appears that there is wording on the stone pertaining to their son Carl.

Also, I would like to know if there is a stone for Charles with any detail?

RE: Amos Trach Correction

Thanks so much for your family lineage. I had not yet discovered the Ettwein marriage. I have not yet established a linkage to this line. But I believe it exists. My theory is that most Trach's and Trauch's in Eastern Pennsylvania are somehow related. I have linked my ancestry to abt 1520 in Hessen (now Germany). From that line my direct Drach ancestor (Rudolf) immigrated in 1754. His uncle (Johann Rudolf) immigrated in 1730. Another undetermined family member (Peter) arrived in 1752. These three families lived close to one another in northern Bucks County and spread from there. My direct linage eventually migrated to Northampton County and I know that descendants of the other immigrants did also. I've been trying to lasso as many kin as I can. I'll let you know when/what success I have.

Blessings, Brian

RE: Susanna Billheimer
Tim Gruber says he personally knows that her tombstone is not at all in Salem Church Union Cemetery. He very thoroughly recorded and photographed every grave marker (if you ask me he went way overboard). So most likely Tom has it in the correct cemetery.

As I suggested just move her to the correct cemetery and have f.a.g. merge the two. You should still retain control of her memorial.

Faon Nolf
Searching for a needle in a haystack! I see you sited as having sources for Faon Nolf. Do you possibly have any documents that prove his relationship with his father and his death? I am attempting to go through him to join the DAR and do not have enough documents. Currently I have the history of Butler Co, and family history. No documents to for proof.

Thanks, Kerry Kennedy

Billheimer History
Hi. I see that you had updated Woodbine Cemetery for Eugene Billheimer. He's my Great Grandfather. I was wondering how and if we're related and if you have family history for this Billheimer line. I've got a lot but know that there's still a lot of history that I'm missing. My aunt spent decades researching our family history prior to her death 20 years ago and I recently took this over and have been building our family tree in We go all the way back to when the Billheimer brothers came to America but would like to be able to fill in the missing pieces. Would love to hear back from you on this. I can be reached at Many thanks in advance...

Isabella Bilheimer
Hi Carole,
I'm surprised that Isabella's parents are listed as Christian & Elizabeth, even though we know that Elizabeth was deceased long before Isabella was born, and that her sister Magdalena (Polly) Esch Bilheimer was actually the mother. I even have the record from the church, which says the same thing. Best Wishes, Bob Esch.

Rev Thomas Charles Billheimer

Birth: Oct. 11, 1842
Pennsylvania, USA
Death: Feb. 10, 1928(1923)

I have his obituary from the Gettysburg Times, Feb 10, 1923. Please correct his death date.
It is a very detailed account of his impressive career and I would be willing to transcribe and submit it to you for his bio if you like.
My interest attraction to him was his tour as chaplain of the Reading Artillerist(National Guard)and his ministry in Reading from 1877-1893.
