Balthasar Kreischer #8183096
I am researching the Kreischer family and wondered why you have the date of birth on his memorial as "March" 13, 1813 when it is clearly "January" 13, 1813 on his gravestone. I did find a birth record with no date and a christening record with a date of March 21, 1813. What bothers me about those records is they appear to be submitted from a family tree. Can you help me out with this? Do you know who his parents are? I'm just not positive if he fits in the family tree. Thanks for your work on Find A Grave and any help you can give me on this puzzle.

Kreischer people
This is to let you know that I have added some more Kreischer people to Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn.
I think you are lots younger than I am. Would you like to manage them?

My great grandfather was co owner of the Yankees with your great grandfather
Hi K. Jacob Ruppert, My great grandfather, Tillinghast L'Hommedieu Huston, was a co-owner of the Yankees with your grandfather. Thanks for writing his biography and posting it here. I sent it to my mother Alexandra Huston Fuller. Tillinghast was her grandfather. Her father was Arthur Huston, and she grew up on the dairy on Butler Island, and also lived in Sea Island, Ga, where she met my father Charlton Thomas Fuller.

You added a picture of his gravesite in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. There is obviously a second grave a the same site but I am unable to read the information. He is a relative of mine on my fathers side of the family. I also notice that there is no mention of a wife in his obit on the site, wondering who she is or was also. Thanks for your help.

Than you again!
I am blown away at the photos you have added for me. Thank you so much for going to all that trouble. I am working hard on getting as many of the SANDEL family connected and trying to gather all the information I can on them and your photos are such a gift.

Thank you,
MichelleRenee68

Ruppert Genealogy
Hi there. My son was born into the Ruppert family 11 years ago and it has been told to him that his great great uncle was Jacob Ruppert, owner of the Yankees. I am not sure of this accuracy, but I was wondering if you have a database that I could browse through to give some him some history of where he comes from. Thanks so much and I appreciate your time.

Victor Andre LeBlanc
Dear Mr. K. Jacob Ruppert,

I was quite moved by your touching tribute and memorial for Victor Andre LeBlanc. Very nice indeed.

I do believe you may have a slight error in the biography. You mention he is a rest now with his paternal ancestors, and list Victor Andre LeBlanc, but I believe that ancestor is actually Victor Alfred LeBlanc. You may want to check.

Again, thanks so much.

need help with Ruppert geniology
Hi,
Trying to find the next generation back for Michael Ruppert b. 1806 and Daniel Ruppert b. 1809. Michael arrived with family 1848 from Gollheim Bavaria. I believe these two are brothers to Franz and Valentine. Can you help?

The public library has a card catalog that it maintains obits for in the SC History room. The index at the library website indiciates they have a copy of his. It doesn't list his wife's. She could still be there but if she didn't live here, she may not. You can either have them send you a copy of his and search for hers as well (it would be about $5 each) or next time I go down there, I can make a copy of what they have. It's about 10 cents a sheet and you can get sometimes 5 obits on one sheet. I could transcribe or mail the photocopies. Let me know if you want me to do that. I'll get his wife's headstone photo posted in just a few. Glad to help!

Betsy Lou Gick
Betsy Gick is buried in the same grave as her husband. Her inscription is on the opposite side of his headstone. She was born May 15, 1903, died Dec 11, 1993 and was buried Dec 15, 1993. If you make her memorial, I'll be happy to upload the photos for you. There is an obituary in the Beaufort Gazette for Frank R Gick, March 22, 1978 p. 20. If you have any questions, just email me. :)

Thank you!
Jacob! Thank you! These are the gravestones of my grandmother's parents! Joy! And your third photo of their location within the cemetery feels so real! It makes me feel to fly to greet them and dance about with Joy!
We've long looked for these two.
You've honored my family.
Thank you!

Best wishes with your personal pursuits!
You've blessed our family!
May others do for you as you've done for us!
Joy!
