RE: Joseph Krzyzewski.
I emailed Our Lady of Hope Cemetery (they have all the records for Holy Cross).....they told me the only Joseph Krzyzewski they have on record was a service man.
I know the Holy Cross records are not 100% complete.
I do have another option, but it takes more time.
I have all the Holy Cross books that were published by Downriver Genealogical Society. All interments are alphabetical by section, which means I have to look thru about 18 books. Takes time but I can do it.

BTW Joseph Krzyzewski's memorial shows him 1916-1917. Death cert shows he was 10 years old.

John is not buried in the Eloise Cemetery. Further Eloise was not a State institution but a County facility and it was located in Eloise, Michigan at the time of his death. Westland didn't exist until 1969. Please remove this memorial. Thanks.

Janet Evans
Evans Cemetery
My name is Janet Evans. My husband, Jordan and I and our children use to live in Meridian, MS back in 2013-2014. We traveled over to Newton county several times to do some genealogy work on my husband's side of the family. We went looking for his GGGG Grandmother's tombstone Catherine Watson Evans. On find a grave they have her buried in the Evans cemetery. We thought we located the Evans Cemetery by the maps icon located on find a grave. When we got out there, we didn't find her tombstone, and none of the others listed for the Evans Cemetery. We were told that the Evans cemetery from the genealogy society was just down the road from the MT. Moriah Presbyterian Cemetery. We told them that it wasn't the right place. Then they were unsure where it could be.

So, I saw that you posted a picture to the Evans Cemetery. You took and created in the Evans Cemetery for www.findagrave in Newton County in Mississippi for a George Jefferson Wilkins (B. 1870, D: 1930) I was wondering where did you find the Evans Cemetery. Is there any way you can give me directions, or somehow send me a picture from google maps locating this cemetery. We live in Louisiana now. Not to far still if we needed to drive over on a weekend to do more genealogy. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,
Janet Evans

RE: I believe these the the same person
I think I have this all straightened out on Find A Grave. It would be a good idea to see about fixing things with the cemetery itself. I'm not sure who has the records, though.

RE: I believe these the the same person
Thanks for the thought on the two. The Evelyn E. Durflinger Bever memorial is for a lady born in 1917 and died in 1990. The index has only Bever and the maiden name was given to me. The Evelyn Durflinger memorial has her born in 1818 with no death date given. This is based on the cemetery index at the entrance to the cemetery. At this point they don't appear to be the same person due to the birthdate differences. Please send an edit if the first memorial for Evelyn E. Bever should have a different maiden name. Thanks. Becky

RE: George Jefferson Wilkins
I am glad that you posted the memorial. I checked my photos and I did not keep a copy of the stone. You might want to lift the one from Ancestry. I think that it has been shared many times. I found a few photos of stones that do not have the cemetery noted. I will work on them. As time slips away the mind sometimes goes with it. Thank you for your kindness.

Never Forgotten
RE: George Jefferson Wilkins
Rebecca, I am not going to be much help. Years ago we took photos in Newton County MS and posted them on Find A Grave. You are correct. George is no longer on Find A Grave. I can't imagine why. I checked Family Search for a death certificate and did not find one. On Family Search I did find that he is listed on Billion Graves. There is also map of the cemetery. I don't understand why he is not listed on the Evans Cemetery list. I check my list of memorials added and he is no longer there. I am sorry to be of so little help.

RE: Here's the mix up
I truly appreciate your help and do not mean to offend. Thank you for the transfer, it means a lot to me! There are so many Richardson's and I started with only my grandfather's Father, James Larkin Richardson, as I have a family book of the 3 main families, Maxwell, Cochrane, and Richardson. My mom is 88, and her two sisters are 92 and 95 so all the information was handed down by verbal stories and I am desperate for any information to make sense. I will add your edit and try to write some on the bio, and if you have more information I truly would appreciate it. Have you been to this small hidden and overgrown cemetery? Please forgive me if it sounded like I didn't believe you, but there are several duplicate memorials and I have contacted a "cousin" that is a descendent of JLR's sister. I would never delete a duplicate memorial until I contacted everyone of both memorials to see if we can combine the most accurate info into one. Any suggestions are very welcome to assist me! Thank you.

RE: Here's the mix up
I would like to communicate via email because there are 2 different people with multiple memorials and as you say, there are multiple marriages between the Richardson's and Sheats'. I hope you have some detail to help me as I am directly related to James Larkin Richardson (G Grandfather) and then there are 2 or 3 generations above that all went by James Richardson and I know there are incorrect information on those memorials but I don't know what to believe. I have little information regarding all these generations. Thanks for any help. I am going to hold your edit request for Malinda Pope Sheats being 1 of the spouses of James Richardson #73520124 because I have info that he was married to Elizabeth North Clements, so is that the 1st marriage and then to Malinda Pope Sheats? I am so confused!

Memorial # 73520122 is my GGG Grandmother. Please consider a transfer to me. I have her birth @ 1796 and was married to James Richardson. Do you have any more information about this family as another memorial said that her son James Richardson as 1/2 sibling to Martha S Richardson Sheats. Thanks for your service to Find A Grave!

Confirmation Received.
The cemetery will change their database to reflect the correction. I will now transfer this one back to Chris Mills for deletion.

I will check that out with the cemetery records. These memorials were created by Chris Mills, using IPC's own online database. If you are found to be correct, I will have to transfer the memorial back to him for deletion. We cannot simply delete memorials that have been transferred to us. That process was put into place because people were having memorials transferred to them, and then deleting them in favor of duplicates that they had created.

I will let you know when this has been accomplished. I thank you for your patience.

Richard Swan’s First wife
Hello rebecca

Do you have a citation stating that Richard Swan’s 1st wife Anna died in England?

Info & Dates don’t add up.

1. Richard arrived in Boston either 1638 or 1639.

2. His fourth child Sarah Swan was born March 1644 in Vermont.

3. Who was Richard married to at this time????????

4. Richard didn’t remarry until 1658.

5. His 2nd wife was Ann ????? married 3 times. (1st Husband Michael Hopkinson) (2nd Husband John Trumball).

6. I have not found an accurate last name for Ann. Some Family Trees say Gott, Spofford (Richards 1st wife’s maiden name) Trumball (she married a Trumball).

From the Bio you wrote about Richard Swan.
Richard's first wife died in England before he came to this country, and he married (second), Mrs. Ann Trumball, March 1,1658

Thanks Terri

PS Richard’s children are with his first wife Anna and NOT with 2nd wife Ann as shown on Find a Grave.

Dear Becky,

You and I share a common ancestor, Patrick Cassady. I'm an avid genealogist, looking for information on Patrick. I too live in St. George, Utah and would be thrilled if you could provide me any information or pictures about him and his family.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Rebecca,
You and I share a grandfather. Patrick is my 4th great grandfather. Do you know if he has a headstone. I am making a list of my grandparents who do not have a headstone or needs new ones.

RE: Valentines
I'm working through the MI survey, there are about 4½ thousand numbers for the memorials transcribed. There can be up to three graves on a page, (but some numbers have no usable information). I select names of interest (to me or extended family & friends) from the index, I then process the information from all MIs on the pages. At present I'm working on the pages which contain Tong/Tonge/Tongue. Future names will be; Green, Greenhalgh, Hilton, Pollitt(+variations), Ogden, Yates, Sumner (there are so many names) ... not necessarily in that order! If you want any information added to any memorial page at St Mary the Virgin, let me know, or please use the edit facility. The same goes for creating the family links.

Sorry for another message. The relationship was not added on my side. I only have the parents linked. It must be with who maintains the "wives" or other people.
