It's the John Coler born 1791, died 1870. His daughter, Helen Mariah (Coler) Wilson is buried in Dell Cemetery, Vernon County, Wisconsin.

Find A Grave Memorial #5926880
Will you transfer the memorial for John Coler to me (Memorial #5926880)? He was my 3rd great grandfather through his daughter, Helen Mariah (Coler) Wilson (Memorial #86770298).

Pierce Cemetery
Squire Brown was the Grandfather of my Grandfather John George Brown. My Grandfather had a farm 1.2 miles south of Temperanceville on 379. On Google maps with the satellite view the farm is easily seen as all the trees and brush have been removed and you see dirt roads all over as they are fracking. My grandfather and uncle used to go over the hill at the western boundary of the farm to visit the Pierce Cemetery, I tried to find it a couple a days ago but could not. I have seen clear cut paths off 181 and am worried that the cemetery might be bulldozed over one day and be lost. Are there better directions or an image of google maps with a pin drop where it is?

J.J. Shriver
I am related to Michael Shriver, who is buried in Shriver Cemetery. Thank you so much for the photo
of J.J. and Mary Griffith Shriver. It is the only
one of them I have seen. I have visited Shriver Cemetery, but it is quite a hike off of a country
road. Since the hard winter of 2015-2016 there is no longer a way to get there except on foot. It is a lovely cemetery surrounded by a wrought iron fence. I still have family in Noble County. I have a photo of their monument made out of zinc.
I have left some information on Find a grave under the name Ohio Families. Thanks again.

RE: Johnson's
The Mosher Family Cemetery is located off of County Road 18 at Dale. Turn on County Road 18 at Dale then go almost to the end (Roxbury). There is a road sign on the right stating E J Ross Lane - Windsor Twp. Road 43 and Mosier Cemetery - Windsor Twp. Road 1170. The name is misspelled on the sign. This cemetery is in the woods and a walk is required to get to it. There used to be a road that went right past it back in the late 1800's. It is on private property.

RE: alex h Pierce
Hi, Bob and Rose - thanks for the info. I believe my Alex died much earlier. I do have family notes that indicate Alexander Henderson Pierce was my great grandfather but when I checked my other documentation I saw that I have no primary documentation to prove much of anything about Alec or Lic - as my family called him. I'll see what I can figure out!

Hi, Bob and Rose: Alexander Henderson Pierce was my great grandfather. I actually have quite a bit of information on him, but haven't worked on that line recently. I'm going to have to review my documentation to figure out this other Alex Pierce situation!

Thanks for all you do for all of us who use findagrave.com all the time. We appreciate it!

PIERCE CEMETERY
Dear Bob and Rose,
Some time back I had read about the Pierce cem. from where I do not recall, on line I guess but I took interest and spent some time trying to locate it on maps both topo and satellite and could only get close to its location since it isn't marked on any map and is shrouded by forest. I just spent the last couple days plotting the location of my 2nd great grandfathers (Benedict Lowe) original 40 acres the he bought from President Martin Van Buren back in 1837. It appears that the Pierce cemetery is on one of his former hilltops or very near to his former land. I can only wonder if any of my ancestral kin (Lowe/Dillehay) occupy any of those unmarked graves??? Several of his brothers are buried in the original portion of St. Mary's Cem. but it was St. Dominic's parish near 200 years ago. Or perhaps the Pierce folks obtained that land after Benedict moved on westward. I am still putting the puzzle together.
Respectfully. Rich Lowe GySgt of Marines, (ret)

RE: Pierce Cemetery
Ok Bob, thank you very much. Just curious as to whether you have the family back any further than Mary Pierce coming from Maryland in the early 1800s?

Pierce Cemetery
I was up at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery 2 weeks ago and ran into a cousin and she said that she went to the Pierce Family Cemetery several years before and she had to take a 4 wheeler there and all the headstones save maybe one hand been buried or trampled over by the cattle on the property. If you have been there and have photographs of the headstones I would like a copy. Thank you, Preston Pierce.

Has anyone been here lately? We are trying to go this weekend and hope we don't get lost in the woods. Are their coordinates to the cemetery?

Pleasant Valley Cemetery
I have no idea where a Pleasant Valley Cemetery is on Cumberland Rd, but according to Carroll Co records, Pleasant Valley Cemetery is located on Arrow Rd near the intersection of Folsam Rd. And it really isn't mine since it was listed by Find A Grave and all I did was post a photograph.

Wm. Warren [6756712] and Nancy McAllister [ 6756721]
Hello Bob,

Thank you for taking the time to create and detail the monument for Nancy (McAllister, her correct surname) Warren and husband William Warren. Nancy represents one unbroken line of descent from my ancestor Angus McAllister, a Scotch Presbyterian immigrant of circa 1720 to Londonderry, NH. Nancy's grandfather, the son of my ancestors, is interred this same cemetery with gravestone, but her father's apparently has not survived.

I am detailing and linking together the resulting correct lines of descent with appropriate bios and summary of the children. I would greatly appreciate consideration of a transfer of Nancy and husband William's memorials as well as any of the linked children whose memorials you maintain. I'll take good care of them.

I have posted this same message as an SAG to Nancy's memnorial.

Regards, Don Blauvelt, 46932939
