|Margaret||Photo Added to Sister Celine's Grave|
You wanted to see her face, so I took a photo of a photo copy that I had of her last picture. I can't quite believe that it turned out so well when I transferred it to the computer and added it to her grave. An angel must have helped in the process! Sister Celine was a very hardworking, generous, and sweet person who taught 1st & 2nd grade for most of her life and then went into parish ministry, visiting the sick, etc. in her later years.

I'll photograph all the entries you put in. Don't bother formally requesting a photo, I don't really care about my photo count. I will try to get a list of burials there as I remember, there aren't really that many. Maybe we can put them all in.
I'll get back to you this spring, if it ever comes.

|Margaret||Possible help needed|
Row Walker - I have noticed today that you are the person who has added several graves of Servite Sisters to their Cemetery. As you may have noticed, I was the first one to add a grave, that of my cousin, Sister Mary Celine Draus. I was planning to add her photo and a short biography, and now I see that you have added many photos of other Sisters with very detailed biographies. I imagine they were obtained from the Sisters' official files. If you have access to them, it would be nice to have the same for Sister Celine. Please inform me how this could be accomplished. Thank you
Sister Margaret, OSC

Talked to Toni at the Courtyard today, how funny she told the story of the, ahem, 'genealogy group' that met there for lunch Saturday. Insert a snort or a chortle here. Can't wait for the next one.

You manage the grave of George James Boozer #15018934, he is a distant relative of mine and while I was doing some research for my family tree I found him. You have him listed as unknown burial. He is buried at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, Jackson County, Oregon. He married Minnie Lee Cook B: July, 04, 1929, Chilton County, Alabama, D:March 22, 2013 Bu: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, Jackson County, Oregon, Daughter of Franklin Cook and Allie Lee Ray. She does not have a Find A Grave Memorial, I thought you would add her and connect
her and George. To check the facts google Minnie Cook Obit

|Anne Shurtleff Stevens||RE: Luncheon|
I just sent an email out to Linda, Penny and Bill, didn't have yours. I am still simply flabbergasted I missed lunch, so unlike me to not have noticed. We got our flu shots (first time) Friday and Friday night to Saturday night was the worst time of my life. I guess I had an allergic reaction? I WILL be there next lunch, I was so looking forward to it, too. (pout)

I wanted to thank you for posting the picture of my step dads grave. We had a rough relationship when I was growing up and I never got the chance to thank him for helping me to be the man I am today. I carried hate in my heart for so many years because I was never "his" son and never felt that I was good enough. It wasn't until I had a step son of my own that I realized how hard it was for Dave to raise me. Dave taught me many things, how to stand on my own two feet and how to deal with fear. I never got to say goodbye or to tell him how much I loved him, even when things were bad between us. I live too far away to visit his final resting place, but finding it on this website has given me closure. Thank you.

First, thank you for the wonderful work you are doing with this site. I am just getting started with my submissions. I see that you found our family's cemetery in Indian Springs, Madera, California (Wagner Cemetery). That is a miracle in itself as it is so tucked away. I have much more information I would like to share for Everard. Would you be willing to transfer the memorial site you created to me so I can add my information? It would be so appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas.

Hello, I can't believe you found a grave for my Uncle. Please check my memorial #50715963. If you would please delete your duplicate, but please add your pics to mine. I never knew he had a grave site. My other Uncle who is still alive will be excited about this, he never knew there a grave site either. Thanks so much for all your hard work on Find A Grave. I also agree with all said in your bio.

|Sheila Ruiz Harrell||RE: Firebaugh Cemetery, Fresno County, CA|
Hi, Thanks for asking about the Firebaugh Cemetery. Here's the address and info:
Firebaugh Cemetery Memorial
2502 N St, Firebaugh, Fresno County, CA, USA
I have been told that the Firebaugh Cemetery was once located on private property, then owned by the City of Firebaugh from 1981. In 1989 a memorial stone was erected at the site of the old cemetery with names engraved of those known to be buried there from the established date of 1920, however there were headstones for burials as early as 1905. The combination of early burials, those removed from Las Juntas Cemetery (now defunct), and burials in Firebaugh from 1920 to 1971 would total many more than the current 31 names engraved.
Hopefully this description of the Firebaugh Cemetery will be added soon. Since my first visit to this memorial stone in June 1998 and the photo taken in 2007 that is used here on Find A Grave for this cemetery there have been two names added. While it would be wonderful to have all the known burials listed, at about $1500 per name that probably isn't going to happen. Thanks again for asking about such an interesting place... the first time I saw this cemetery was at midnight!!
