Royce, Hello so nice to hear from you. I am pretty sure that we have been in touch before, but it has been a while. I am happy to share what I have with you, you can email me with your Ancestry username or email address so I can send you an invite to my tree there. I haven't done much research in the last year, but before that I had branched out into families that are related but not really....If they had good photos of everyone I definitely added them. I now have over 20,000 photos and documents and I have done my best not to duplicate them, so it's a pretty accurate number.
I live in Broken Bow and am online most days.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I went to Hill Cemetery today to fulfill a request that you submitted but found no stone. There were only two stones and they were "Hills". I was wondering why you believed he was buried there.

Can you add any information to the bio in her memorial? If not I prefer not to transfer her in the hopes of finding kin who can. Otherwise I will do so when I have an opportunity.

Pinkertons and Umpire Arkansas
Royce, Hello, So Nice to hear from you! I am more than happy to share anything I have with you. I have a copy of the Umpire Gazette, some old class pictures, and one of my grandmother's report cards. I forget now how I am related to the pinkertons, but I have been known to add entire branches of a tree ESPECIALLY if they have good photos!
The main names that I am descended from are Ward, Bedwell, Jackson and related by marriage to Dildy, Justus, Townsend (several of the Bedwell's married Townsends) and a whole bunch of others.
If you will send me your email address I will send you an invite to my tree, and also an invite to my private family pg on Facebook.
I have a copy of The Unfinished Story of Howard Co, or More of the Unfinished Story, can't recall which right now.
Anyway, I'm anxious to hear from you

RE: Elisha Pinkerton
To answer you question on my connection to the Holcombe - Pinkerton - Parker families in the Bethel Cemetery. My Grandmother was Maggie Emma Lena Davidson, she married Houston Henry Hosey. Her mother was Tennessee Franklin Parker, her dad was Franklin Parker married to Sarah Sally Buck. They had a daughter (Patsy A. Parker) that married Joseph Allen Pinkerton. A son (William Isaac Parker) that married Emma E. Holcombe. Another son (Rev. Joh Alexander Parker) that married Susan Elizabeth Pinkerton.
My grandmother's dad was Julian Glen Davidson, he married Susan Boone Arthur.
Susan's dad was Charles D. Arthur, he married Lucinda Ball. They had two daughters that married Holcombes; Harriet N. Arthur married John R. Holcombe; and Rebecca A. Arthur married Andrew Glen Holcombe. Both Holcombe boy's Grandfather was Joel Holcombe.

Mr. Pate, hope this covers you question as to how I'm releated to those that are in the Bethel Cemetery. Should you have questions that I may be able to answer, let me know. Rickey Parks

I transferred his memorial to you as requested. I read your profile and am somewhat surprised you grew up in Umpire! I didn't realize there was still a school and/or enough people to have one..ha. My family from Umpire starts with Willis Washington Ward and Elizabeth Pickard, and Burnetta Elmira Jackson who married Nathaniel Bedwell. Several of the Bedwell's married into the Townsend Family as i'm sure you know with your research. I have been in Umpire a few times, but never had enough time to to thru the Cemeteries. My cousin John has an original copy of an Umpire Gazette which may be the only copy left from what I understand. I would like to visit with you and share info and photos, if you would like an invite to my tree at Ancestry, just let me know. I have over 20,000 photos and documents from 15 yrs of researching.

Hello -

I believe that the memorial that you created for "Ossimus Camp" # 54850350 is actually my g-g-g-g-grandfather, Orsemus Camp, #54850350.

The link to his record is provided below if you wish to see the marker for him and his wife, Margaret Henley Camp.
