Robert Urquhart
James, Tried to email you at charter but did not go through.
I am very curious about your picture of Robert Urquhart 1827 and Amelia, He is my 2nd Great Grandfather and the father of Robert Duncan. Can you tell me where you found that picture? As far as I know my Robert does not have a middle name. When I go to find a grave I see that the tombstone for Robert is 1904 but mine is 1910. I wonder if someone screwed up their information by accident and everybody thinks that his name is Robert Franklin when it's not.
Have a great day!

John and Azelia Millard @ Silver Lake
Hello - John C Millard's memorial has a photo of the headstone. Is it possible to put the same photo on Azelia's memorial?

Azelia Lillie Prichard - 18837658
Albert C. Millard- 18837461

I put in an edit to move Prichard to "maiden" name and add Millard to "last" name.

I put in an edit for plot information. I typed Block instead of Section.

Let me now if you have any questions. I appreciate your help.

Regards,
Linda Z

Hi Jim
I have noticed that memorial 103866718 is a duplicate of your memorial.  Would you ask the manager  of that memorial to remove it?  One memorial refers to Return Holcomb and theother to Retturn Holcombe.  With this inmind, would you make the following changes to youe memorial, 8595463?
Change the name to Return Holcomb(e) Jr.
Add following links to:
1)     Father – Return IraHolbcomb(e) Sr. – 77410492
2)    Child – Asachel Holcomb(e) - 103967711

Nameseeker
Samuel B Steele b. 1 January 1762
The marriage Record for David Glass and Sarah Steele lists her parents as Samuel B and Agness M Steele
Marriage Records Fayette County, Kentucky
1803-1809 Volume I
Name: David Glass
Spouse: Sarah Steele
Marriage Date: 12 Feb 1808
Samuel Steele, B.; Agness Steele, M.
Your Record on Samuel says:
"Samuel Steele
Birth: Jan. 1, 1762
Chester County
Pennsylvania, USA
Death: Aug. 18, 1847
Greene County
Missouri, USA
He was born the son of Samuel Steele and Agnes McMahon."
That would make him a brother to Sarah Paxton Steele above instead of her father. She was born 1787. The date of Samuels birth you have would seem more likely to be her father.
Can you help me sort this out.
Samuel B Steele is my husbands 5th G-Grandfather and may be connected to me as well.

Lydia Faulkner
Hi James, I have the photo of Lydia's headstone. The stone is broke, 1/3 to 2/3. I don't live near the Napoli Maple Grove Cemetery, but I was going by so I thought I would check. I took 2 photos, The part with Lydia's name was stuck in the mud behind the bottom part of the stone which is still in the ground. It is hard to make out, but I didn't have anything to clean the mud off. The stone could be cleaned and repaired because it looks like a clean break. My family and I repaired one for a young man deployed in Iraq to help him out and to thank him for his service. Just let me know and I will put the photos on. I wanted to give you the heads up first.
Sincerely, Ron Kinney

I've added a photo of the gravestone to your memorial. FYI one of your dates is different than on the gravestone, and also the wife's name is spelled on the stone. d

Judy Young
Steele, Mt. Comfort Cemetery
Thought you might be interested in this that I found in Greene County Missouri Cemeteries Volume IX Campbell Township and Springfield page 60 by Ozarks Genelogical Society.
Location: North Springfield Directions: Exact location unknown. Read June 29 1991, Researched by: Kay and Bettie. Comments: In an article in KEYS to Springfield Magazine, June 1975, pge 23, Lena Wills reported the following: "Stones found in yard in N. Springfield, Samuel Steele, 1763-1847, 83 yrs. Samuel Headlee, 1811-1858, 47 yrs. Thought to be from Headlee Cemetery at one time in N. Springfield."

The Steele and Headlee stones were reportedly used for several yrs. as stepping stones at a residence on N. Main. The old stones were purchased and are now in the possession of a private citizen. The readings taken 29 June 1991 are as follows:
Steele, Samuel 1 Jan 1763 17 Au_ 1847
Headlee, Samuel G. 29 Jan 1819-7 Jun 1858 ae 38y 4m8d.
Several years ago a memoria stone for Samuel Steele was erected at Mt. Comfort Cemetery. (see Vol. 4 Greene Cty. Cem.). Numerous oral history sources have indicated to the researchers that the two old stones came from the "Old North Springfield Cemetery" located at the corner of Campbell and Atlantic where Reed Jr. High now stands. However, after careful research of newspapers and funeral homes records, no written documentation to prove their original location found.

Hi James, Robert and Amelia are my 3 great grand parents. Their Daughter Margaret M. Urquhart-Urquart is 2 great grand mother. Her daughters Tabitha and Amelia is my great aunt and great grandmother. they are buried in Lakeside Cementary in Cumberland, Barron, Wis. I went there last year to locate them, which I had the luck in finding them and a foot stone with the Urquhart Family name on them. I would love any other information you have on our family.
