|Jolene Chesley||John Harvey Epperson's Taffy|
I love the taffy story which I had not heard from my family.
Sad Great Grandfather John did not know his father William Thomas Epperson killed in the Civil War for the Confederacy.

I will be glad to add the plot for Michael Rakes but I don't have a cemetery entered for him. I was a classmate at Bentonville back in the 1970's. Do you know if his father Jerry is still living?
Have a super weekend,

rms. I think I found Eugela, her Find A Grave memorial is #160289177. There is a memorial # 23056471 for a John Shafer, not sure if it is John Irwin. I also created a memorial for Frances, she is buried at Mt. View, #168747401. Let me know if you want the me to transfer the Shafer memorials.

Keep me in mine when you go to Quay Co., New Mexico and take tombstone pictures of Lola Pitts Sands and her sister Minnie Pitts Hedgecock. Their father Richard Pitts was ancestor of my father-in-law Otis Linzy Webb and husband Jake Dale Webb. Richard H. Pitts had two wives: 1/w Sarah Catherine ? died at child birth.
They had daughter Sarah Catherine Pitts m. William C. Webb our line. William C. Webb was Lawyer and Civil War Union Veteran from Missouri.
His brother's fought for the Confederacy. This must have put a strain in relations in the family.
Your line from 2/wife Rachel Stever if I remember
correctly. The Stever's moved to California-Linsay-Exeter area of Tulare Co., CA. Distant
cousin of my husband was Loretta Miller Stever married to Loren Stever of Lindsay and
Exeter who was probably 2nd or 3rd cousin of my
husband. We always liked Loren and Loretta Stever.

Hi -- just wondered where the info about Reuben being given custody of his grandkids (5) came from. I would love to add this info to my files --court records, perhaps.
Thanks for your work in this area.

|Marian||RE: Hartman Family|
As far as I can tell from my databases my husband's family is not connected to any of the Hartman's in the McCune Cemetery. Several of the memorials were transferred to me. If you want them transferred to you please let me know and I will be happy to transfer them to you.

Yes, the Hartman listings were in a group that the administrator assigned to me. You are more than welcome to have them. I think I got all of them transferred, if there are others, let me know through an SAC.
