John Cox 1758
Allice: thanks very much for notifying me about the erroneous information that has be added to the memorial I wrote for John Cox, b. 1758. It is a shame that someone added information that is absolutely incorrect. I had thought that the editorial board of Find A Grave exercised more control than that. I re-edited the information as best I could. Thanks. Bill

I love this site, too! It's so helpful for genealogy buffs!
I'm not related to the Grim/Grimm family so am happy to transfer them. They're all in your care now & I hope you can link them someway.

Would you like them all? I think there are 3 Grim & 11 Grimms. I'd be happy to send them all to you!

RE: Jacob Grimm
I just emailed you last night using the email address I found on the Carroll County, Illinois GenWeb page: http://carroll.ilgenweb.net/outlines/grimm. The email didn't bounce, but maybe it's an email address you don't use anymore? My question is whether you've added anymore information to the "Modified Register for Jacob Grimm" you put on that page. I was given a whole file of the Grim/Grimm family obituaries for Carroll County. I haven't counted them but there could be well over 70 of them. I will be transcribing them for Genealogy Trails, Carroll County at http://www.genealogytrails.com/ill/carroll. One of the things I really want to know is the reason for the changes in spelling of Grim and Grimm. I think there were different Grim families in Carroll County, but it seems like some of the siblings in the same family used Grim and some used Grimm. Many of the earlier generations spelled it Grim, but some of the later generations used that spelling too. What is your take on it?

Allice,

You are welcome and Thank you.I just turned Eunice's memorial over to a relative last night.Somehow I had missed John Iker on the list when I added others and just made a memorial for him last night.I got that article from the abstracted newspaper articles of Taylor & Page County,Iowa.

"Almhouse Cemetery, Chester Co. Pa.
Dan: Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting this picture. You made it possible for my family to view the possible burial place for our grandparents who both died in 1823. Thank you again. Allice Burns Reynolds"

Who were your grandparents? What evidence do you have they are buried at the Almshouse? Did you mean 1923? If not, how do I get into your longevity gene pool.

Thanks for the information but I cannot link the child, Gladys unless I have ownership of her memorial. Plus you should send the memorial numbers for everyone involved so corrections can be made. Do you know if there is a memorial for Gladys

LP

below is what you sent to me,
Your suggestion:
-------------------------
Additional child of Clarence Burns and Alice Davis Burns is Gladys Marguerite Burns.

Howdy cousin. :) You've been a member for 10 years? Wow that's a long time. :) You're not the manager of any memorials. Want me to transfer? I've added all 3 of your brothers. I assumed since everybody else was buried in that one cemetery they would be too. Glad I was right. :)

I see where you've posted pics of Phineas Cox's stone. Thank you so much. I've been waiting forever for a pic. Do you have one of Barbary's?

Take care & I'll see you around. :)
