Immanuel Cemetery Lebanon
Thank you for all the photos you took at Immanuel Cemetery. I am struck by the amount of wear that has taken place on some of these stones. Your photos shed much more detail on them than what presently remains.

John Kraus grave
Does anyone happen to know if John Kraus was born in Roxheim, Germany? The dates are correct, but I have no place of death. I assume he spoke German since the inscription is in German. I am tracing a distant cousin of mine named Johann Kraus. Thank you. Margaret McClain

Finally found her grave at Nenno, Wisconsin. Would you happen to have an obituary for her? Or would you know a source for obituaries in the area? Thanks DR

He is Carl J Storm 42372132. He is a 1st cousin and if not for you I would not have found his final resting place.

RE: Anna Broege - Valhalla Memorial Gardens
Oh dear, guess these things happen.

Memorial# 144456394 - If this is the same Anna Broege, her husband was Herman Broege, and her MAIDEN name was Kegler, daughter of:

Memorial# 62722782

Memorial# 30888505

I didn't want to request adding a MAIDEN name & parent links, without a bit more info. But her year of birth was July 1868 on the 1900, living in Milwaukee, wife of Herman. Certainly seems to be a match!

Refresh my memory as to what cemetery please. I filled about 50 requests today from 10 cemeteries.

Dorothy Collins
I live on this side of the toll bridge. I was able to locate Dorothy's grave. She is in section 3 lot 23 next to Glenn. I noticed that her death date plaque is not there. I will call them tomorrow to check on it. Do you know if the date plaque was ordered or paid for?

Dorothy Collins photo request @Haven of Rest
Haven of Rest has a policy now where they will not release the location to anyone that is NOT family to the deceased. If you are family, please request a location and have them confirm that a marker is in place so photo volunteers can successfully complete the request. Thanks!

Irene Wright Gonzalez
To all those who are at the site, re Phillip Raidt
Hi,

I was just following a hint from Ancestry. Com, for Phillip, 1824-1900.  He is buried in the St. Joseph Cemetery,  Watertown.
There isn't any other information, regarding his relatives, place of birth, etc..

I believe, but don't have proof yet, that he is the brother of my 3x paternal great grandfather, Thomas Raidt.

I understand that you must be taking care of quite a few graves, but if you are given any information about Phillip, I would very much appreciate knowing about it.  The family is very difficult to follow, I will also  put this note on the public side.

Thank you,
Irene Wright (Raidt)

In about 1880, Thomas and Magdalena Raidt changed the spelling of Raidt, to Wright. Their younger children took the Wright spelling, while the older children kept the Raidt.

RE: Joseph Hochhaus
Hello John, Sorry I do not have a better picture. I happened to be walking St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery OLD and came across John Hochhaus's tombstone and entered it in find-a-grave and then I was hoping to link the children. I found some but some must not be on find-a-grave yet. Sorry I couldn't help more. Cindy Gengler

Hi John
You sent thru an edit for Adela to add her parents. The edit is asking me to add the same person as her mother and father. I hate to decline edit requests without explaining why. I will leave it for a bit and if you want to re-do her father, I will accept the edit.

Thank you!

I totally understand. I find it a life long commitment that occasionally goes on the back burner while life takes place. I'm just getting back into my own research and recording after long stretch, too. Let me know if I can be of any help when the time comes. :)

John,
I've worked sporadically on our family's genealogy, and just came across your message. I'm not sure if I responded. Are you still working on the Cole project? Please email me at gracij@gmail.com for private communication.

Thank you.

Francis F. Ladwig
Thank you so much for adding the photo of my great-great-grandfather Francis F. Ladwig at Graceland. Actually the stone is for Francis, wife Elise and three adult sons: Edwin R., Walter F., and Felix A. Ladwig. There were all cremated and their urns buried together when moved from Fairview. I just added the memorial a couple of weeks ago. Did you already have the photo, or were you alerted to the new Francis F. Ladwig memorial and then took the photo?

I have just really gotten active on Find A Grave and am searching and making entries from my years of genealogy.

Thank you so much for ALL your work on this project. I hope to get more involved and answer photo requests in the area. Bless you.
