whitaker memorials
The duplicate memorials in question have been deleted. Normally I try to be very careful so as not to post duplicate memorials, these two slipped by somehow.

RE: Daisy Ruth Marshall photo
Wow you got me on this one. Guessing by the color of the marble and the conditon of the tablet it is Hollywood Forever, Los Angeles. I would have sent an edit to the creator of the memorial. The only way I would have known is if it was in someway connected to someone next to them. James

flowers for Harvey L. Glasener that you posted on June of 2012
Hi, my name is Stormy (Glasener) Brein. I came across your posted flowers on my grandfather's grave site online in OH off of "findagrave". His name is Harvey Liola Glasener. I wanted to let you know that he was born in 1905 in Joliet, Ill., passed June 1, 1978. He was divorced after only a 3yr marriage to my grandmother, Ferne, and was survived by his only child, Harvey Steve Glasener, married to Jill (Heather Green) Glasener, who had 2 daughters, Jackie and myself. I was curious about u adding a memoriam of flowers and wonder if you are family. Please feel free to contact me at my email address of

thank you for your kind post of flowers in 2012. I hope this note finds you, and finds you well. Again, please contact me should you have a moment. God Bless, Storm

Phillips was sent to me as a correction. I removed that name from her memorial since I am now aware that it may not be correct.

Update to Margaret Curry

Thank you for correcting the birth date for Margaret Louise Cronin Curry. I updated the record... I even added birth/death locations from the info you included.

Is this a family member of yours? If so, would you like me to transfer ownership of the record to you? I entered her info after I did a partial survey of the Kebort Cemetery, but don't believe I'm related.

John is also my 6th great grandparent. I honestly know nothing about that side of the family due to my father being killed when I was a baby. Can someone please tell me more.

Sarah Cowee and Samuel Marshall
Hello Kim

I never knew Sarah Cowee remarried. I was trying to find some info on it on the internet but didn't see anything. I just wondered where you got this info. I'm always interested to learn more. Did Samuel and Sarah have children? Or maybe they married too late in life? Apparently her children decided Sarah to be buried as a Cowee rather than a Marshall? I see Samuel Marshall ended up out west so maybe their marriage didn't last long? I seen in one family tree on the internet that goes way back to Massachusetts that the Green Cowee and Marshall families have been connected previously. Interesting...plz tell me more.

Bessie Lee Hodgson Crabtree, 38111012
Hello Kim,
I'm doing a photo project in the Lincoln Memorial Park mausoleum, in Portland, Oregon. One of the crypts I found reads:
Bessie Lee Crabtree. 1888 - 1990.

I checked the total database to see if there was a memorial page already created for her and found two pages had been created. One in Kansas, yours was created 9 June 2009, and another at Lincoln Memorial Park, created 27 Oct. 2011. [Evidently, that person didn't do a search of all of Find A Grave for a memorial already created.] I called Lincoln Memorial to verify that they did have Bessie's remains and they said their record showed they did have her. The memorial page for her at Lincoln Memorial, and photo of the crypt, is Memorial# 79395153.

I tried to see the date of death on the marker in Kansas but couldn't tell if the complete death date was there. I think only the first two numbers of the year are there. From what I've found, she was born in Kansas, lived there for some time and her husband, Charles, died several years before she did. I'm wondering if she moved to Oregon to be with a family member, and that her name had been added the the joint marker with Charles. When she died in Oregon, her remains were placed in Oregon, rather than ship them back to Kansas. Is there a way you can check your cemetery records, newspaper, etc., to confirm burial in Oregon?

Oregon, Death Index, 1898-2008.
Name: Bessie Lee Crabtree
Age: 2
Birth Date: 8 Oct. 1988
Death Date: 19 Dec. 1990
Death Place: Multnomah [County]
Spouse: Charle
Certificate: 90-25233
[NOTE: her age is listed as 2, but the person doing the index entered the wrong year of birth in the index. They have 1988 and it should be 1888. There is no way a 2 year old can have a spouse! The Oregon Death Index sometimes doesn't have enough spaces for names, such as the name of her spouse. It should read Charles.]

So there are now two memorial pages, and your page has several family links.

I'm not related. I just want to help relatives know where Bessie's remains are actually resting.

RE: Booth Relationship
Hi Kim,
Thanks for your reply. I am the gg granddaughter of a John Thomas Booth from West Brownsville, Washington Co. Pa. across the river from the Bridgeport Cemetery. In an effort to flush out 2 more generations back I have been researching all the Booth families in the area of Fayette and Washington Counties trying to confirm how they may or may not be related. I have spent much time with John Franklin Booth as his Civil War records are co-mingled with my John Thomas Booths' at the National Archives in D.C.. If you and your husband think that you may be able to assist me in this research please answer me back at
I am curious to know if your Robert Booth family is connected to my Joseph Booth family, (father of John T. Booth) I am in the Pittsburgh area. How about you?
Thank-you, Lois Salvatora

Obituary for Russell Kells
I read the obit for Russell Kells and then noticed you had worked on most of the memorials for the Kells Family so thought I would forward this to you in case you would want to enter this memorial also. Here's the obit from the Garnand Funeral Home.

Russell Theodore Kells slipped away from this life into the arms of Jesus on January 5th, 2016, at The Shepherd’s Center, Cimarron, Kansas.
Russell was born on October 15, 1924, in rural Grant County, Kansas, at the home of his maternal grandparents.
He was raised on the Robert Fulton Kells homestead in northwest Haskell County, Kansas, and lived at that location until 2008 when he moved to The Shepherd’s Center.
He married Rose Marie Snavely on August 18, 1945. She preceded him in death in 2002. To this married four children were born—Karolyn J. Kells (deceased in 2012), Donald D. Kells, Darcy L. Kells and Kristi R. Kells Cole. Donald married Linda Pritchard, Darcy married Pam Brown and Kristi married Jimmy L. Cole.
Russell and Marie were blessed with Jason, Brandy, Nathan, Vance, Koren, Ryan, Dava, Justin and Janessa as grandchildren. His grandchildren have full, wonderful memories of their grandpa and the things that they did together. Russell and Marie were also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren with another one on the way this spring.
Russell spent his working years teaching his children and grandchildren how to ride horses, work cattle, plant and harvest crops while also managing to have a lot of fun along the way. It was always said by Marie that Russell never met a stranger. He was known to drag anyone, friend OR stranger, home for a meal when that person was found anywhere close to their home and Russell thought it was time to eat.
What his family will remember and treasure about him the most was his deep love of Jesus as his Savior and also his great love for Marie. He has really missed Marie since she passed and talked often about going to be with Jesus, His Savior, and his wife. They are together now—enjoying the presence of Christ and waiting for the rest of their family to someday join them.
The going home celebration for Russell will be held at Bible Christian Church, 1404 E Mary, Garden City, Kansas, on Friday, January 8th 1:30 p.m. with Vance Kells presenting the remembrances of Russell and Darrin Hammond officiating.
Interment will be at the Haskell Country Cemetery following the service in Garden City.
The family requests memorials given to The Shepherd’s Center and to Christians United for Israel both in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City.

Larimer Family
Hi Kim, I don't know if you got my suggest a correction info. Edgar, John Wesley, Mary Ann (Lockwood), Mary Marilla, Samuel-1806-1888, and Samuel dates differ are actually not in the Sabetha Cemetery, I have added them for the Seneca Cemetery. BUT I would gladly delete mine if you'd just change the cemetery on your memorial. Just use the Edit cemetery and it is easy to do. If you have ?'s please let me know. The one Samuel has a death cert. posted and the dates are different from both of ours for some reason. You have such nice memorials for them, interesting family. Luella
