Transfer & thank you
Thank you for your generosity in transferring:
Pvt Ben Burnham
to my care.
With your help, I have successfully connected him with his parents, (soon) his 12 siblings, his wife and eleven children.
As I receive more information, I will be adding to Our shared memorial.
With sincerest appreciation,

Glad you got some that problem took care of. There are two cemeteries near St Charles I wish you could get straight one is Gilland Ridge they had it and Christian Privilege as the same cemetery they are six miles apart one is in the town of St Charles the other one is 6 miles from it I sent Two different messages to find a grave and I guess they don't think I know what I'm talking about. There is also another cemetery in Nortonville the cemetery book and you can go online and look for Furgerson Cemtery and it comes up people have been posting names to a Hamby Cemetery that are buried in Furgerson. Hamby is also located at St Charles on Union Temple Road, but I think one of the problems is Bandy funeral home listed the burial as Hamby. I have been aiming to talk to them about that but everytime I have been there it's been for family and I don't think of it.
I have been working on Rosedale because we have moved to Beulah so now it near to us. It's a large cemetery but they have roads through it that make it easier to do. Last summer I worked on Ridge Top or Crofton Cemetery I made 6 trips there to take photos. I did the cemeteries that I had family in and that was closer.
I took 1300 photos for Concord at White Plains it had lots of older graves that where every hard to read.

RE: Mack Smith
When we had the Smith reunion at Pennyrile Park I thought someone from your family was there and had two pictures one of Mack family, back then you couldn't take a good of of photos, but that was long time ago maybe I'm just not remembering the right story.

RE: Mack Smith
Yes, I think there's another woman named Lorna that does a lot of photos on find a grave I think she is Edna Smith Ford's granddaughter not sure But I believe that is who she is. Edna was a sister to my husband's dad. Janet

Mack Smith was my husband's great uncle, he was a brother to David(Dave) Smith. So you are a cousin to my husband. Have you done your DNA on Janet

RE: Benjamin Franklin Butler, Jr.
I checked #14654067 can't add another photo because the maximum number for photos has been made, but I did see a photo of the grave stone on that site. It's just hidden because of the other photos. If I didn't understand what you needed just let me know and I will try to do it. Lake Grove Cemetery records for find a grave are a mess. I tried to do the photos and there are several duplicates of graves. I father-in law and mother in law and lots of husbands family are buried there. My husband and I where married in the old church 50 years ago in March that they replaced with the new church. Have a lot of ties there.

RE: Alney Brothers' parents
I did send a request I did realize before that they where recorded in the wrong cemetery until yesterday when their last living daughter had died. Was trying to correct the mistake. Thanks

Lily Virdell
Thank You and a bit of info.
Dear Tanners, Thanks for the quick response to the edit I sent for Cecil Harry Renfro. Was looking for something to respond in kind. Found a record called "Illinois Soldier Burial Places-1774-1974" It listed the death date of H.F. Littlemeyer, so I sent you an edit for that and a little more. H.F. Littlemeyer was born Heinrich Franz Lutkemeier and he married Kathrina Maria (Mary C.) Kleinschmidt born July 22,1848 to J.Bernard and Kathrina Maria Elsabein (Wolke) Kleinschmidt. Don't know why she is'nt buried in Saint Stephen's with her parents and her husband. She died Aug.7,1889 Massac Co., Illinois. Probably more than you want to know, but I'm a researcher, it's what I do. Thanks again, Lily

Thank you very much for taking time and locating the burial of one of my ancestors. It was greatly appreciated.

When you were there, did you see any other George burials?
