|Cynthia Criollos||Bickley Masoleum|
I am researching my Bickley family line and I currently live in Rhode Island. I believe the Bickley you cited as 110239017 with a picture of a man in a circled picture on a memorial piece appears to be inside the Bickley Masoleum. My cousin and I will be visiting Waterloo on August 2, 2017. I believe the picture is my great-grandfather John Cecil Bickley, M.D., who drowned at Cedar River in 1932. I believe his father is in the mausoleum, my second great-grandfather John Good Bickley, as well as my grandfather's brothers, Carl and Emil and Emil Jr. I called the cemetery and they said they did not keep records of who is in the mausoleum. It appears that you were inside the mausoleum to take the picture that was posted. Do your recall being in there? How would you suggest my cousin and I be let into the mausoleum so we can pay our respect to our ancestors. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Cynthia Smith

I again went to the Central City cemetery in Central City, NE on 4-18-2017. There is not an Alice Kohtz listed in the directory at all. She is buried in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Polk, Nebraska (the cemetery is actually in Hamilton County, NE. The photo that is credited to me was taken from her grave site at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. I personally took the photo. I am unsure why my memorial was "merged" with another one. I again would respectfully ask you to transfer her memorial to the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hamilton County, NE. Thank You.

I wanted to touch base with you as William Dance is my third great grandfather. I saw on genealogy.com some of your posts about him and the family and would love to learn more. I am related through his daughter Mary Jane who married Benjamin Clark. I would be very interested in any other pictures you have or information if you're interested in sharing. Thanks! Alison

|Wendy Redman Hudson||William C. Filter|
Hi, Michelle. I have been working extensively with records from the Arborville Cemetery near Polk, NE. An outdoor directory of burials was recently erected at the cemetery and I personally went through the record books, maps, etc. extracting information for the directory. In the process I also walked the entire cemetery and photographed all the headstones there. I have been working to get them all uploaded to Find A Grave. In the process I have noted that you created a memorial for William C. Filter and have him buried at the Central City NE cemetery. I have the records and a headstone for him at Arborville so I do believe he is buried there with his wife, Faye. I have created a memorial for him there and have added his headstone picture. I was wondering if you would consider deleting the memorial at the Central City Cemetery. If he is a relative and you are interested I can transfer the Arborville Cemetery memorial to you. Thanks so much! Wendy

|Linda (Beethe) Schulze||Alice Kohtz|
Greetings. I am looking into a duplicate memorial that I seem to have made for Alice Kohtz. My memorial # for her is 110840604 buried at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Polk, NE. Your memorial # is 5172636 buried in the Central City, NE cemetery. I will delete mine if necessary but the headstone that is pictured with both memorials is at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Polk, NE.. Let's see what we can do to figure this out. I took the picture. I am a bit puzzled.

|Martin Collett||Hamilton County Families|
Happy New Year Michelle. I'm finally retired and am back working on my Hamilton County families and the records and photos left behind by my aunt, Selma Hopp. I'm in the process of going through the Hamilton County Marriage Records films and am copying the actual Marriage Records and uploading them into the FamilySearch website. I'm also uploading people and headstone photos, marriage announcements, obits and anything else that I can find and load to specific people. I haven't worked on my blog (http://myhamiltoncountyfamily.blogspot.com/) in some time and hope to start working on it again in the next few months. If there are any marriage records that you need for your Hamilton County families, please let me know by email to email@example.com and I'll copy and send them to you as a jpg.
Thanks for all you have added to this site. Hope all is well with you and your family.

You are appreciated. Thanks for your continued support. I've asked the question of a genweb cemetery volunteer. Hopefully the mystery will be solved.

Glad I could help. I took pictures of every stone in the cemetery. It was vandalized a few years later but I think they repaired almost everything. I may go back this year and retake some of the pictures. I do not like the quality of some the pictures I took. geo

|Mike May||Julia May|
Thank you for the update on Julia May. A visit to the unmarked site is not needed on my account, since her husband Louis May is also in Section M, Lot R, Row C, so I'm sure she next to or very close to him, and I do already have a picture of his marker. :) I may be able to visit for myself this summer.

|Couple of Gravers||RE: Mark Miles|
You are very welcome. Actually, I have photos for any memorial page that I have created. It turns out that I'm better at taking photos than posting them. I just posted several hundred photos to the Orange Township pages that I have, and plan to start catching up on Fairview and Elmwood Cemeteries. Hopefully Tim will be able to find the markers for your relatives. If you have their names, I can check to see if I have the photos but haven't gotten them posted yet.
Hopefully the weather will be nice for you. Thanks for the compliments on my photos. They aren't all quite what I'd like them to be, with shadows or glare causing the biggest problems. I go back and rephotograph markers from time to time to try to get better photos. A little change in lighting can make a big difference.
Some people get upset if additional photos are posted, but additional photos, even with a similar orientation can help to give a new perspective to the gravesite.

If you would ever decide that you would like copies of the obituaries I can get them for you. It might take awhile to locate them.

Thank you for the photo problem report! I have pics already of Louis & Fred, but not the others as I am not sure they are related. If you make it out there on 5/8 as mentioned I would appreciate any location info on Julia for my records, even though there is no marker. Thanks again!

Klare Louise Tiede Fenster is my Greatgrandaunt.
I have been working on the Tiede tree and others for over 20 yrs. I would be interested if you have all the descendants of Frank & Klare Fenster. I think I've got fairly complete list.
