I've put in a request for photo, as our volunteer photographers are very active here. As soon as they fulfill, I'll update with the links to his parents that you provided. Just wanted to let you know about the time. Best wishes.

|Dana||Children of Michael & Dorothea Kline|
Hi! I am also a descendant of Michael & Dorothea Kline. While you're descended through Gertraut, I am descended through Frenia who married Michael Quigley.
I recently received some documents, including a 1781 indenture, which list Michael's 14 children at the time of his death. I have written a couple of blog posts about him which you can see on my blog.
I'd love to talk! You can reach my blog here: http://theenthusiasticgenealogist.blogspot.com/

|Ann Smith||RE: Frank Wesley Miler|
It would be great to correspond. We can use this forum, if you'd like to do so. That way, other relatives can chime in. Are you on MyHeritage.com? That's where my family tree is, and it would be interesting to see how we're related. I can't remember what I asked you, specifically, but I'm interested in how John Wesley Miler's (Frank Wesley Miler's father) sister got the name Sierra Nevada. After John Wesley Miler died, his wife, Calista Jane Danner, married Albert Cooley and had many more children with him. I recently received a letter from a relative that Calista sent our ancestor, Frank. It was very touching, as she seemed to really love him, though she was married to his father only a short time before he died.
By the way, I live in California. I don't know where you're based, but I would love to get together with Miler relatives sometime. When Paul Miler was alive, I think he was instrumental in organizing Miler reunions in Osceola, Iowa.

Do you have any information on Margaret Garvin (Find a Grave Number 14046508), buried in Manhattan Cemetery, Putnam County, Indiana? I am looking for information on a Margaret "Peggy" Sutton Garvin who married a John Garvin in Garrard County, Kentucky in 1811.

Thank you so so much on research and I will make a note in my book in reference to the 3 children. I am doing on Family Ancestor Book on The Lamberts & Allied families.
The children are noted in the Gindelberger Family Geneaology by David Gindelberger.

I found a clipping in the "Pauls Valley Democrat" about the wedding of James Campbell and Pearl Miler. It was dated Dec. 22, 1910 and stated they were married Dec. 20th (the memorial says they married the 28th). You can see the clipping and make a copy of it here http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ksclay/deaths/campbellmillerdec221910pvd.png if you want. Would you let me know when you copy it, so I can remove it from my website?

If you look at your memorials for Robert Green Caples, Sr. and his wife Matilda Eleanor (Tracy) Caples, you will see that I have linked them to their daughter, Elizabeth (Caples) Brock. You mention Elizabeth by name.
My husband and I are documenting burials at Mount Olive Cemetery in my husband's hometown, Troy, Doniphan County, Kansas. We found Elizabeth's broken stone, and for some reason, I was fascinated with her.
Information was easy to find, as her headstone identifies her husband, Benjamin H. Brock. He was a Kansas Territorial Legislator, and biographies for him are readily available online through Google. They identify his wife as Elizabeth Caples, whom he married in Tuscarawas County, Ohio before coming west.
Elizabeth and two of her daughters are all here, and I would be happy to transfer them to you as they are members of your family, not mine. In a case like this, I don't believe adhering to the "direct within x generations" is necessary or even reasonable.
Just let me know.

It appears that two Burnett families traveling the same routes west named their children identical names... leading to a lot of confusion for their descendants! There is another girl named Isabell Burnett in Texas in 1880, only this one is living with her grandparents in Tarrant County rather than with her new husband! The one I am seeking is a cousin of our direct line, and I obviously was provided incorrect information about her husband and children (as I was told they were the same as the husband and children for YOUR Isabell Burnett). Sorry about the edit request!

|Peggi Williams||RE: Otto B Blagg|
You are very welcome. It was a pleasure to find Otto Blagg. I should have also added that on the cemetery papers of the plot areas, next to Otto is what I assume his wife but possibly a child. There are two additional names which are similar to one another. But there are two dates as well. So it may be two people besides Otto. I didn't ask. Just noticed when I was searching for the grave. But here they are.
Emma Gladys Blagg 1/11/88
Otto B Blagg 7/20/76
Emma G Blagg 10/20/76
That is how the names are listed on the cemetery plot records. Hope it helps you with your research.
