Mary Ruth Maxted 1945-1979
It would be a kind gesture if you were to remove that picture photo you chose to upload of dear Mary, showing her in a none too healthy state. This picture taken towards the end of her life.

There are on the internet far better picture photos to chose from or it would just be kind of you to remove it altogether, Mary was a beautiful young woman and truly should be seen as one, and not the addled wreck she was to become because of drug misuse, that which is so recognisable in this picture.

Garson Kanin parents...
Suggestion: I recently came across Kanin's parents at Hollywood cemetery, and thought you might add 'family link' to Garson Kanin page. Up to you. Thanks ...

Charles Herbert Best # 2130
Was Charles Herbert Best a Medical Doctor himself? If so, his memorial should have the title Dr. before his name?

Chuck Smith
Wes Tuttle Onit
Wes Tuttle's obituary says that Wes lost three middle fingers on his left hand at the age of 8.
The picture shows ALL his fingers. The picture must be someone else.

Hoyt Hawkins #86298251
I noticed you wrote a bio for Hugh Jarrett and have him in the "famous" category. Could you do the same for Jordanaire Hoyt Hawkins, who now has a plain memorial?

Kiley Mann
John Shivley Knight
I added some photographs of him and his two wives...to his profile...I guess they have to be okay by someone...hopefully they will...he was a great man for Akron and had a lot to do with our free press.

Brian Bailey
brother of Kimberley Bailey
Hello, my name is Brian Bailey and I have had a hard time looking up my sister who was my oldest at the Erie Times News as it was produced on her obituary where she lies with her body next to my father who was a decorated Pennsylvania State Trooper for 32 Years of service in the warren, corry and troop -E headquarters in Erie, PA and my sister,Kim Bailey will never live it down for her movies which are totally degrading to women of all walks of life and the only real people who watch the porn films are mostly dirty old men and men who like to see total mistreatment of woman.I find it very violating she did this activity and she didnt dream to become a star ,who was beaten daily by her live in boy friend. My mother Barbara Bailey remembered calls at night when she had her hair pulled out by this man!I am a graduate Of Edinboro University of PA in criminal law/ business bachelors degree, and Kim did in fact want to change her life around and went to Penn State for almost two years.Kim struggled with a drug problem in her late teens and did not graduate from High school and did get her GED [equivlent].My father would not tolerate her behavior so KIm moved to New Jersey with my mother. She lived in a bad section full of drug addiction called Vineland, New Jersey and My mom can thank her loving to be on the Welfare Kick and having live in boy friends ,who were as youg as my oldest brother! My mother Barbara Bailey now residing in Warren, PA raised Kim Bailey and she has had to live in poverty and Drugs and THAT my , friends is what lead Kim to enjoy the Hollywood lifestyle and was engaged to Dominick Romonello of Canada to settle down and have a family and live and work like every Human being is supposed to.Well on that April 1 st,1999 My life changed in that my sister Kimberley Bailey had accidently drowned in Cheektawaga ,New York. Her body was transfered to Erie ,PA where she was born and Raised and DOES have A CEMETERY for those who truley care, The name is called The Gate Of Heaven ,located off 12th st. And only has a small brick ,with no engravery ! Thats how much respect a Bailey gets! I am very angry writing this as My father could not handle the lose of Kim Bailey ,her daughter and died on December 9 th ,1999 on the same year and also has a small red brick which is terrible and the executor of the estate both times was my younger sister Michele Smock who is caught up with her own world and I never received ,much .Not pictures of Kim and I that she had shown me prior to her death. My father ,I received the most preciuos gift ,my fathers Military/State Police flag and is mine till I pass on .Now at 42 I have lived with depression from the lose of my sister Kim Bailey and my father, James R. Bailey I will enclose where Kimberley lynn Bailey is Buried at as her True family needs help to put up a proper grave stone and I visit her as well as my father and when I do see them I still shed some tears . Please consider assisting with any help you friends can as there left with no engavery on there stones nor there birt-death dates. The Phone Number can be googled by searching The Gates OF Heaven Cemetery located by the Erie Airport off 12 th street in Erie,PAKim by religion ,was a lutheran as were all us children and Kimberleys wish was to be buried by her grandmother, Margret Kathline Andersen at the Oakland Cemetery in Warren, PA,not by her abusive father ,although I love them both.I am on facebook under Brian Bailey from Warren,PA and if you want to friend me I would love to talk about the sister she was,My e-mail is bnkbailey95@aol.com I will close by saying Kim is now a child of God, Please dont pose unclothed pictures of my sister as I as well as many dont Find it appropriate Her Younger brother Brian Bailey 103 West Wayne St. Apt # 4 Warren , PA 16365 ,Thank you I miss you Kim and remember the times our parents were not home and left us with nothing to eat but string beans and you did take care of me as I was the neglected child till Dad showed me the Right way to live by Joining the Army ,Infantry, any ways I miss and love you and hope friends and family will buy you an actual grave stone as you deserve it and the ruling was accidental but she had big ties with the Mophia in Toronto , Canada.I ordered the police report and autopsy to make sure this was not a murder, professionally done. The Breugger funeral home is where she was laid out.I spoke to a man who looked up all kinds of information and gave me the feeling it was NOT accidental [Austin].

Charles Chibitty #11401871
Hi I just read your bio for Charles. I'm cleaning up a cemetery that has duplicates, and ran across Ralph Wahnee #49774991. Maybe you could do a bio for him? I'm not the contributor, but I'm sure the contributor would love a bio. Ralph's brother Myers was also very active in WWII, Myers is #49774983. There is a bio for Myers on http://www.militaryhallofhonor.com/honoree-record.php?id=227322

Have you thought about turning in all of the code talkers to be considered as famous?
Have a great week :)

Ron, I am not 100% sure but I believe the photo you posted on memorial page #9113703 is a photo of Gen Curtis LeMay #9654 and not Gen Charles Sweeney. The same photo appears on both memorial pages. Just thought you might want to check it out. Fran

Linda Davis
Ray Charles
Read you excellent bio on Ray Charles memorial.

One fact missing was that he received his basic education at the Florida School for the Deaf and Bland in St Augustine. My Daddy, after he retired from the army, worked at the school in the 1960's. It was in the time period that "Hit the Road, Jack" was in the top 10 on the radio. For his accomplishments, Charles was a hero to many blind students... and still so today.

Just sharing my thoughts.

Mae Murray Photo
Hey Ron, just wanted to let you know that the photo you posted on Mae Murray's memorial is actually a photo of Marion Davies spoofing Mae in the silent movie The Patsy. Miss Davies was a master of spoofing her fellow silent movie actresses. There are many great photos of Miss Murray on the internet, but photos posted on blogs are often misidentified, so you have to cross reference to make sure. Take-care - Daniel

Gilbert Roland
Noticed you added Actor Gilbert Roland, His Career last over 6 decades,,,, But your bio for him is just a couple of lines,,, Luis Antonio Damaso de Alonso, later known as Gilbert Roland, was born in 1905 in Mexico. Following his parents to the USA, he did not become the bullfighter he had dreamed of being but became an actor instead. His Mexican roots, his half macho half romantic ways, his handsome virile figure helped him land roles in movies from the early twenties to 1982. A long and varied career in which Roland was in turns an extra, a matinée idol (Armand Duval in Camille (1926)), a Latin Lover, a star of English-speaking films made in Hollywood in the early 1930s, a Mexican bandit in B-Movies, The Cisco Kid in a series of six popular Westerns, a brilliant character in major A movies (John Huston's We Were Strangers (1949), Vincente Minnelli's The Bad and the Beautiful (1952); Anthony Mann's Thunder Bay (1953), John Ford's Cheyenne Autumn (1964)), a sinister character in Spaghetti Westerns... When he retired in 1982, twelve years before he died, he could be satisfied. His career had spanned six decades, the coming of sound had not ended it, he had played in all kinds of movies, he had held the most beautiful women in his arms, and maybe the most important thing, he had been given the opportunity to show his acting talents. Not every actor can boast such a life achievement.

Cochise Photo
A noticed that your photo of Cochise on Find a Grave is not Cochise. That photo is a popular one of "Chato" from the Smithsonian's National Anthropological Archives. Since the photo was taken in 1886, Cochise was long gone (he died in 1874).

Here's the link to the Chief Chato photo:
