Rev Ulysses O. Mooring


The Rev. Ulysses O. Mooring was born in Miller county Ga. On August 19, 1964 this child which God had already determined would do his will and his service opened his eyes to a world that Only God could love. As the years past, Otis as he was called by those that knew him grew into a young man, about his 10 Yr mark he left the Guidance of his Grandparents and move to Waycross Ga. To live with his mother. This is the point where God began to step in Rev. Mooring's life He joined the Macedonia Baptist Church were he remained a member until 6/26/05. Reaching his 18th birthday Rev Mooring was blessed by the lord to attend Florida State University to play football while attending FSU he majored in Pre-law and minored in Recreation and Administration. He later joined the U. S. Air Force. He remained in the Air Force 4 yrs. In April of 1991 he was licensed to the Gospel Ministry. The hand of the Lord was Upon Rev. Mooring in September of 1995 He received his ordination to the Gospel Ministry.

Rev. Mooring decided to better equip himself for the Gospel Ministry. he took the words spoken in the Gospel of 2 Timothy 2: 15 " Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" To the heart he enrolled in Andersonville theological Seminary where I have received a B.A. in Christian Education and is now working toward a Master in Christian Counseling ,Substance Abuse and Licensed Clinical Counseling

Rev Mooring is now married to the Former ArNita Brown. In their union they have 2 sons Kyle and Taylor. Rev Mooring also has two daughters that he loves very much Brandy Nicole Mooring and Amber Latrice Mooring who resides in Waycross Ga.
