Claud Buche, 60, died unexpectedly at his farm home on Jackson Rd. Monday. His son Kenneth, employed at the Norcutt Grocery at Clarksville, found him dead when he arrived home at noon for dinner. They reside in the Edson Bushnell tenant house about seven miles northwest of Ionia. Coroner Wallace Jackson of Ionia was called.
His wife, Ethel, was killed in an auto accident near Clarksville in 1947 and a son, Frederick, was drowned in Morrison Lake in 1945. Surviving besides Kenneth are two other sons, Melville of Saranac, and Leon with the Armed Services in Germany.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 at the Beattie funeral home with burial in Clarksville cemetery, Rev. Paul Boger officiated.
