Dillard E. Farrar, age 69, of Tullahoma, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Harton Regional Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1939 in Fayetteville; the son of the late Thomas Lee Farrar, Sr. and Willie Mae Payne. He served his country in the military and worked as a welder. He is survived by his four sons, David Farrar, Todd Farrar, Andrew Farrar, and Paul Farrar, all of Indiana; his five daughters, Kathy Swiffer of Illinois, Laura Farrar of Iowa, Christina Wolkow of Tullahoma, Amanda Farrar and Betsy Farrar, both of Snider, Indiana; his three brothers, Thomas Farrar, Ellis Farrar, both of Tullahoma and Jesse James Farrar of Maryville, Tennessee, as well as several grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, April 17th at the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside services, officiated by Rev. Larry Bradford, are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, April 18th at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
