Theodore and Bernadine Braun

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Braun moved to their new home in Coldwater in 1949 from a farm in Jay County, Indiana. Mrs. Braun still resides in that home at 306 East College Street and owns the farm in Indiana. She is the former Bernadine Muhlenkamp. Mr. Braun is deceased. They had three children. Rita lives in Dayton and works as a nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital. Doris is married to Ronald Mock, and they have three children. The Mock family resides in Beavercreek, and Doris worska s a nurse at Kettering Medical Center. Gene lives in Coldwater and is married to the former Marilyn Everman. They have four children, and Gene is employed at Pax Machine. Mrs. Braun, better know as Bernie, enjoys attending the senior citizen card parties and crocheting, especially afghans of various types. She also enjoyes her grandchildren who are Theresa, Rob, and Joey Mock and Michelle, Ted, Angie, and Emily Braun.

Braun Rites Wednesday

Theodore Braun, 74, 306 E. College St. Coldwater, dieda t 12:01 a.m. Sunday at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater. He had been ill for several years and seriously ill for six weeks.

Mr. Braun was born Aug. 9, 1903 in Mercer County, the son of John and Louise Kahlig Braun.

He married Bernadine Muhlenkamp in November of 1936 at St. Anthony, and she survives with three children; Rita Braun and Mrs. Ronald (Doris) Mock, both of Kettering, and Eugene, Coldwater, a brother, Peter Braun, Coldwater, the following sisters Mrs. Josephine Hamlin, Portland, Orgeon; Mrs. Mathilaid Homan, Philothea, Mrs. Mary Abels, Sharpsburg, Ida Braun, Coldwater, adn Sr. Lewine Braun, Maria Stein and four grandchildren.

One brother and two sisters are deceased.

Mr. Braun was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and its Holy Name Society. He was retried from Aveco New Idea and from farming.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wedensday at the Coldwater Church the Rev. Clem Irvin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp's Funeral Home, Coldwater.
