ANNA LAURA BARKER
Mrs. Anna Laura Barker, 84, widow of Simon B. Barker Sr., died Friday of a heart attack at her home, 1573 N.W. Summit avenue.
Funeral services will be announced by Edward Holman & Son.
Mrs. Barker was born October 4, 1871, in Charleston Vt., coming to Oregon with her parents in 1889. She taught school in Lone Rock. She and Mr. Barker lived in Condon, until 1907, when they moved to Portland.
Mrs. Barker was a member of the Coterie club, La Barre's Shakespeare club, the Presidents' club and Trinity Episcopal church. She was a past matron of the Condon chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harry C. Blair; three sons, Carroll K. Barker, Charles F. Barker and Simon B. Barker Jr.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
